At Final Fantasy 14's Fan Fest in Las Vegas, FF14's producer and director Naoki "Yoshi-P" Yoshida announced an exciting crossover with Fall Guys. This unexpected collaboration between Mediatonic and Square Enix will introduce new additions to both Fall Guys and Final Fantasy 14, including a fresh fame pass for Fall Guys and a captivating Gold Saucer attraction in FF14.

Square Enix kicked off the Fan Fest keynote for Final Fantasy 14 by announcing the upcoming expansion, Final Fantasy 14: Dawntrail. Set in the land formerly known as the New World, now called Tural, the expansion offers a summer vacation for the Warrior of Light and the Scions of the Seventh Dawn following the events of Endwalker. Although the release is planned for summer 2024, players can anticipate another exciting development before then.

First in line is a collaboration between Fall Guys and Final Fantasy 14. The partnership includes a new fame pass available from August 22 to October 3, offering costumes inspired by the characters Alphinaud and Alisaie Leveilleur, as well as Dragoon and White Mage job outfits. Fall Guys players can also expect adorable costumes featuring creatures like Namazu, Goobbue, Fat Chocobo, and Fat Black Chocobo. This update follows Fall Guys' recent collaboration with Pac-Man, which introduced new costumes to the game.

On the Spring of 2024, Final Fantasy 14 players will be delighted to find an exciting addition to the Manderville Gold Saucer. A brand new GATE and course inspired by Fall Guys will be making its debut. While the obstacle course is still in development, it is designed to accommodate up to 24 players. Interestingly, one of the challenges will reduce the field from 24 to 16 participants, leaving players curious about the number of rounds the course will entail. Scheduled for release in the Patch 6.5x series of updates, this Fall Guys-themed course is eagerly anticipated by fans.
