Unlocking the Secrets of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom's Captivating Tent Quest

Link reunites with familiar faces in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom as he embarks on his adventure in Hyrule. Nat and Meghyn, the sisters he met in Breath of the Wild while they were hunting for Hearty Truffles, are back and in need of his help once again. In Tears of the Kingdom, players can finally assist the sisters in their latest mushroom hunting quest, "The Captured Tent," which is unlocked after completing their first quest, "Cave Mushrooms That Glow." This initial quest begins at Brightcap Cave coordinates -3005, 1635, 0201, and upon completion, the sisters will move to a new location to offer the next task in their fun-filled foray.

How To Begin The Captured Tent Quest

To begin your journey towards the sisters’ quest, head towards the Snowfield Stable in the Hebra Mountains region. It is advisable to first visit and clear the Orochium Shrine, which is conveniently located at coordinates -1637, 2642, 0239, making it the closest shrine to the Snowfield Stable. This shrine can also serve as a useful fast travel point.

Link can find Meghyn and Nat, the two sisters, outside the Snowfield Stable near the cooking fire. They inform Link of a cave they discovered at the base of a mountain on the nearby road. Unfortunately, the cave is now infested with monsters, and they are unable to retrieve the mushrooms inside the cave. As they are unsure of what to do with their tent, they express their interest in exploring the cave to claim the mushrooms. This begins the quest, "The Captured Tent," which Link takes on to help the sisters.

To get to the cave, head northeast from the Snowfield Stable and follow the road until you reach the large entrance of the cave, which is located just north of the road at coordinates -1374, 2864, 0198.

The Mount Drena Foothill Cave

As soon as Link steps into the cave, he will stumble upon the Mount Drena Foothill Cave. Within the cave, three mobilins and a bokoblin will be guarding the tent set up by Meghyn and Nat. If Link can defeat these enemies, he will successfully complete the quest objective and clear the area.

Climbing up to the first ledge behind the tent after defeating the enemies, the player's attention will be drawn to a glowing Brightcap mushroom. The mushroom marks the way to the completion of the cave. Gathering the Brightcap and some Chillshrooms, the player can climb up to the next ledge where they will find more Brightcap mushrooms.

After ascending to the top of the second ledge, the player will come across a passage obstructed by breakable rocks. By shattering the rocks, the player gains access to a spacious room situated within the cave. Here, they will confront a Bubbulfrog, which can be swiftly defeated to obtain its valuable Bubbul Gem. These gems can later be exchanged for the coveted Mystic Clothing armor set and other valuable treasures from Koltin's collection.

With the Bubbulfrog defeated and its gem in hand, the player can easily exit the cave using the Ascend ability. To return to the Snowfield Stable, they can take a leap off the hill and glide back down to the road or use the Orochium Shrine fast travel point in case it has been unlocked.

Completing The Quest

Upon returning to the Snowfield Stable, the player should inform Meghyn and Nat about their successful expedition. As a token of gratitude, they will be rewarded with a mouth-watering Spicy Steamed Mushrooms dish. Excitingly, Meghyn and Nat will also mention a mushroom haven located in Hebra, leading to the next quest, "Who Finds The Haven," which is automatically accepted.
