Minetak Shrine Location in TotK
In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, some shrines pose a unique challenge not in their difficulty, but in their elusive location. The Minetak Shrine, for example, is hidden away in the northern region of the map, making it a tricky find for even the most seasoned players during their regular exploration.
Players can find the Minetak Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom beneath the Deplian Badlands to the north of the Thyphlo Ruins.
To reach the shrine, players can take the Deplian Badlands Cave route located at coordinates 0306, 3572, 0089. Alternatively, they can fast travel to the Thyphlo Ruins Skyview Tower and glide north to reach the shrine quickly.
The cave's entrance will be on the northern face of a cliff near an encampment of Bokoblins in a giant skull.
Minetak Shrine Walkthrough
Upon reaching the Deplian Badlands Cave, players will immediately find a steep hole and will have to make the short jump down into the darkness below.
The entirety of the cave is covered in a blanket of darkness, so it's highly recommended to have some Brightbloom Seeds or a set of glowing armor to light the way.
The cave is crawling with enemies, especially Horriblins, so having ample lighting can help players avoid an ambush from the cave's ceiling.
Once at the bottom of the cave, follow the wall to the right and continue down the tunnel. The path will have another opening on the right leading to the room pictured above.
Players may encounter Horriblins in this part of the cave, which may pose a threat to their safety. Defeating them can pave the way for a more secure journey and potentially unlock a chest on a platform located at the back wall. Don't forget to keep an eye out for
as well.
Once done, players can turn back toward the way they entered to see two passages and should follow the tunnel that is now on their right.
Continuing down this tunnel will lead players to the Minetak Shrine, which they will eventually see on their right.
Players can access Rauru's Blessing by activating the shrine's terminal, which grants them a Light of Blessing from the statue and a Big Battery Zonai Device from the chest. The game can be enjoyed on the Nintendo Switch.
