Unlock Exclusive In-Game Treasures: World of Warcraft Unveils Epic Prime Gaming Reward

Starting today, World of Warcraft is offering a promotion for players who have both Battle.net and Amazon Prime accounts. By linking these accounts, players can obtain the coveted Silver Pig pet, along with other anticipated cosmetic rewards from Prime Gaming in the future. This limited-time promotion will be available until August 24 exclusively in the retail version of Blizzard's long-standing MMORPG.

Previously, during the Mists of Pandaria expansion, players could obtain the Silver Pig as a reward through the Recruit-a-Friend program. It was exclusively available in Asia through promotions during the Burning Crusade expansion. Now, the Silver Pig has made a return in World of Warcraft, coinciding with the recent reveal of the Pet Pack for Ukraine. The Pet Pack is a special promotion where all purchases made until August 29 will directly support BlueCheck Ukraine. With these exciting offerings, pet collectors in World of Warcraft will have plenty to keep them occupied.

The Silver Pig is just one of the rewards that World of Warcraft and Prime Gaming will be offering throughout the year. To claim the adorable Silver Pig pet, players must link their Battle.net and Amazon Prime accounts together. This can be done by logging into Twitch and accessing the Settings menu. From there, players can log into their Battle.net account and navigate to the Prime Gaming rewards page to claim their Silver Pig. Even players on a free trial for Amazon Prime in World of Warcraft can take advantage of this offer. However, it's important to note that Prime Gaming rewards are not available in Wrath of the Lich King Classic.

In the past month, World of Warcraft players had the opportunity to obtain the Silver Shorestrider mount through Prime Gaming. This exclusive bird mount was previously only obtainable through the Wasteland Tallstrider card in the World of Warcraft TCG. The card included a code that could be redeemed within the game by speaking to Landro Longshot in Booty Bay. Due to the rarity of the WoW TCG, loot cards have become highly sought after by collectors, selling for significant amounts.

While some World of Warcraft players are not thrilled about having to subscribe to Prime Gaming in addition to their regular WoW subscription, others appreciate the promotion as it gives more players easier access to cosmetic rewards.
