Unleashing Unprecedented Power: Unveiling the Revolutionary Weapons of World of Warcraft

World of Warcraft players can look forward to new weapons with unique effects in the upcoming Fractures in Time update. With the update set to launch in July, players will have a range of new activities to engage in, including closing Time Rifts and exploring the Dawn of the Infinite mega-dungeon. By participating in these time-twisted battles, players will have the opportunity to earn weapons from the franchise's history that offer special advantages to the wielder.

According to Wowhead, the weapons known as "Divergent" that players can obtain in the Dawn of the Infinite mega-dungeon will contain unique tertiary statistics that offer special effects when activated. These statistics, such as Demonbane and Scourgebane, differ from traditional stats like Haste and Leech. For example, Demonbane has a chance to inflict damage over time to demons when it activates from the legendary axe Gorehowl, wielded by Grommash Hellscream. Similarly, Scourgebane can deal Holy damage to undead enemies when it procs. In addition, two other interesting statistics are Timestrike and Spirit. While the exact effect of Timestrike is currently unknown, Spirit used to be a statistic available to healers in previous World of Warcraft patches. Like before, Spirit will grant mana regeneration to the wielder.

The new stats of the weapons are essentially just a code word for the special effects that can occur when they are used. It is uncertain if these effects will have any practical use beyond the Dawn of the Infinite mega-dungeon, but some World of Warcraft players have shown interest in collecting these weapons for their transmogrification collections. Additionally, like other weapons in Dragonflight Season 2, the Divergent weapons can be upgraded using currencies. It is unknown if the Divergent weapons will be a one-time occurrence or if Blizzard will continue to explore new stats and weapon procs in the future.
