A Zelda player devised a sophisticated contraption to automate the task of overpowering Lynels, notorious adversaries within the game.Crafted with ingenuity, the device integrates a cluster of Zonai Sleds encompassing Beam Emitters and a Zonai Cannon to effectively weaken and immobilize the formidable Lynels.
This device serves as an invaluable asset for farming elusive equipment and monster components, all the while safeguarding the player's weapons and shields.
A daring player of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has elevated Lynel farming to new heights with an ingenious contraption that streamlines the onerous task of defeating these formidable beings. Taking to social media, they proudly unveiled their remarkable invention, coinciding with another player's unveiling of a unique unicycle design for the game.
The latest Zelda game's building mechanics have brought about a massive wave of creative community creations. These range from various vehicles to impressive machinery like the Tears of the Kingdom combustion engines and rain sensors. Some players focused on creating pilotable machines, while others experimented with autonomous weaponry to take down challenging enemies.
One Reddit user, moose_VI, recently designed a complex contraption specifically for defeating Lynels in the dangerous Floating Coliseum of Tears of the Kingdom. Their design centers around a dome built with five Zonai Sleds, which is mounted on a wall using a single Zonai Stake. This makeshift platform supports three Construct Heads, two of which are equipped with four Beam Emitters each. The final head, positioned perpendicularly to the floor, carries a single Zonai Cannon. The main goal of this design is for the Beam Emitters to deal damage, while the cannon is used to immobilize the Lynels, preventing them from destroying the turret with their long-range elemental attacks.
The machine's practicality is well demonstrated in a recent video by moose_VI on Reddit. Although the turret's body could be smaller by using shields instead of Zonai Sleds, the author chose the bulkier Zonai devices for their superior protection against Lynels' arrows.
With a total of 18 components, the current version of the machine has enough space for additional weaponry. For comparison, in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players can combine up to 21 parts before their structures become unstable.
Moose_VI's contraption is a valuable asset for farming Lynels, which are widely recognized as highly dangerous opponents in Tears of the Kingdom. This turret can be strategically utilized to obtain rare equipment pieces and monster parts while also ensuring the longevity of one's hard-earned weapons and shields. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom can be played on the Nintendo Switch.
