Gepard, the captain of the Silvermane Guards in Belebog city, is a Preservation character with a kit that focuses on defending himself and his allies. He has the highest potential for creating strong shields, thanks to his combination of March 7th and Fire Trailblazer elements. His shielding scales with DEF, making light cones that increase his DEF highly beneficial for him. This allows him to become a formidable defensive unit that cannot be easily killed. While his DEF stat doesn't help with his DPS potential until late game, his best light cones are well-aligned with those suitable for March 7th, making it easy to swap equipment between the two Ice element characters in Honkai: Star Rail.
