The Great Hyrule Forest, which includes Korok Forest at its center, is located to the north of Central Hyrule and to the west of Death Mountain. For those who are struggling to navigate the Lost Woods in order to reach Korok Forest and the Deku Tree, our guide is here to help. Upon clearing the area beneath the Deku Tree, players can speak with Kula, a Korok located near the tree, who will offer a side quest for Link called 'Whirly Swirly Things.' Kula's quest involves taking a picture of a large swirly circle in the water, which was spotted by one of Kula's friends. Read on to find out where to locate this mysterious circle.

Whirly Swirly Things - Where to Find the Swirly Circle in the Water

If you're looking for a natural phenomenon to capture with your camera, head to the East Reservoir Lake and keep an eye out for a whirlpool. Located just southeast of Zora's Domain, this swirling vortex is a fascinating sight to behold. To snap a photo, find a good spot and use the Camera function on the Purah Pad. The lake's coordinates are approximately 3524, 0265, 0286 and you can see what it looks like in the image below:

After taking the snapshot, players are required to head back to Korok Forest to present it to Kula. Nevertheless, this task is not completed yet, as Kula now demands a picture of a swirly sand circle found in the desert.

Whirly Swirly Things - Where to Find the Big Swirly Sand Circle

For those looking for adventure in the Gerudo Desert, head to the East Barrens, a named location southeast of Gerudo Town. Sinkholes can be found here, as depicted in the image below. The coordinates for this destination are -2529, -3604, 0010.

After capturing another stunning photo of the sinkhole, head back to Korok Forest to claim your well-deserved reward from the questgiver. As a token of appreciation, Link will be gifted with five Endura Carrots. When cooked, these carrots have the power to boost stamina beyond its maximum limit, providing an invaluable advantage in battles and other strenuous activities.
