A player in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom showcased their exceptional building skills by crafting a remarkable airboat that can fly. Other players in Tears of the Kingdom were highly impressed with the creator's creation.

Since its release, Tears of the Kingdom has provided players with numerous opportunities to exhibit their creativity. This is mainly due to Link's Ultrahand and Autobuild abilities, which enable players to construct diverse items and save their creations for future use. From combat drones to flying vehicles and even whimsical contraptions designed to simplify boss battles, the possibilities in Tears of the Kingdom are truly endless. Recently, a player in Tears of the Kingdom decided to add their own unique touch by designing a flying vehicle.

A video of a user's "force lightning-powered" airboat was posted on the r/tearsofthekingdom subreddit by a Redditor named susannediazz. The video showcased susannediazz's airboat, which had four large propellors attached to springs and long wooden planks in an arm pattern. The sail on the boat was later removed by susannediazz, as it added unnecessary weight and hindered certain turns in the air. The power source for the airboat involved using a glitch called "fuse entanglement" to duplicate items, specifically Shock Emitters that continuously shot lightning at the propellors in a wide range near the water.

Comparisons were drawn between susannediazz's airboat and the airships seen in the Final Fantasy series, particularly the Falcon from Final Fantasy 6. While other players of Tears of the Kingdom have utilized Zonai devices to create energy-efficient drones and helicopters, susannediazz's creation showcased a unique aesthetic. Some players of the game mentioned that the large propellors were obtained by fusing them onto shields stolen from nearby shrines and then detached in Tarrey Town for future use. Additionally, players noted that any missing parts could be easily replaced in Autobuild for a small Zonaite cost.

Players of Tears of the Kingdom will witness their creativity soar as they explore a range of exceptional remote-controlled vehicles and the electrifying airboat. It is captivating to imagine what innovative gadgets players will conceive in the future.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is now accessible for Nintendo Switch.
