The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom expands on everything that was in Breath of the Wild. It offers a larger playable area, a more intricate story, and an increased number of collectible items. These items can be used for various purposes, such as cooking powerful elixirs and meals, enhancing weapons and shields, and trading or selling for in-game currency. While some collectible items are common, others are exclusive to specific parts of the map, and a few are highly scarce. However, with the Version 1.2.0 update and subsequent ones, players can now acquire several of these items for free.

Among the latest free additions are the Soldier's Shield and the Zonai Cart, both of which can be combined using the new Fuse ability in Tears of the Kingdom.
