Finding Bladed Rhino Beetles in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom can be a challenging task for players looking to fully upgrade their Barbarian armor set. These elusive creatures are not commonly found in many locations, but there are specific areas in which they are guaranteed to spawn. It is recommended that players equip some pieces from the Stealth armor set or use stealth-enhancing foods to increase their chances of successfully locating and capturing these rare insects. The Stealth armor set can be found in the Kakariko Village armor shop, and its cost can be significantly reduced by completing TotK's Gloom-Borne Illness side quest. Alternatively, players can use ingredients such as Blue Nightshades, Silent Shrooms, and Stealthfin Trout to create foods that enhance their stealth abilities during their search for Bladed Rhino Beetles.

Players can track down Bladed Rhino Beetles in the Bronas Forest (1577, -3354, 0060) of the Faron region situated in the southeast quadrant of the map. However, these bugs are not available all the time and gamers must explore the area during nighttime and non-rainy weather conditions. To avoid startling the beetles, players must upgrade their stealth skills before approaching them for capture.

Bladed Rhino Beetles can also be found in Restam Forest, located at coordinates 3832, -2021,0192 and situated close to Hateno Village in east Necluda. Similar to the beetles in Bronas Forest, they appear only at night and during rainless weather conditions. Therefore, players should plan their hunts accordingly and make use of campfires to pass the time if necessary. It is important to note that Bladed Rhino Beetles respawn during Blood Moons, which occur every seven in-game days. This means that players who did not collect enough beetles during their first visits to Bronas and Restam Forests need not worry, as they will have another opportunity to hunt for these elusive insects. To expedite the process of summoning a Blood Moon, players can once again use campfires to quickly pass the time.
