This impressive fan art showcases an imaginative concept for either an alternate form or evolution of this beloved Pokemon creature.

In the popular games Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, the recent release of The Teal Mask marks the beginning of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC package. Among these special Pokemon are Sandshrew and Sandslash.

However, players in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: The Teal Mask have reported a visual glitch with Sandslash. The bug occurs when parts of its brown spikes clip through its chest. In response to this issue, Pokemon fan and artist LiddelUwU created an alternative form of Sandslash based on the error. They shared their rendition on Reddit, transforming the glitch into brown armor plates that cascade down its body, along with a few additional spikes.

Sandshrew and its evolution, Sandslash, are beloved Pokemon inspired by pangolins and anteaters. They were introduced in the initial batch of Pokemon from the original games. While many of these Pokemon have undergone evolutions or received baby forms in subsequent generations, the Sandshrew and Sandslash line remained mostly unchanged until the addition of the regional Ice/Steel Alolan form in Pokemon Sun and Moon. Now, fans of Sandshrew and Sandslash can obtain the classic Ground version in The Teal Mask game.
