As the release of World of Warcraft's Fractures in Time content update draws near, Blizzard has published the complete Patch 10.1.5 notes for players to review. This patch will bring about the introduction of the Dawn of the Infinite megadungeon, which underwent significant adjustments during its testing phase on the public test realm (PTR), along with updates to class balance across the board.
Next Tuesday, July 11th, when Fractures in Time goes live, it will undoubtedly be a momentous occasion in the 19-year history of World of Warcraft. This patch will be the first to introduce a new class specialization, the Augmentation Evoker, outside of an expansion launch. The Augmentation Evoker, a support-focused spellcaster, wields the powers of the black and bronze dragonflights to bolster allies and impede enemies through a variety of crowd control abilities. While its damage output may be intentionally lower compared to other damage dealers like the Devastation Evoker, the Augmentation Evoker offers players a novel way to contribute to parties and raids. Only time will reveal the success of this new support-focused specialization.
However, the developers of World of Warcraft have taken into consideration the needs of all classes and specializations. In the upcoming Fractures in Time update, they have dedicated efforts to revamp the Holy Paladin and all three Mage specializations. Additionally, hybrid specializations like Protection Paladin and Brewmaster Monk will receive adjustments to address their healing capabilities. Among these changes, some specializations will witness an expansion in their mana pools, reaching staggering amounts like 250K mana. For a complete list of these modifications, click here.
The Fractures in Time update will introduce the ability for more races to take on the role of Warlocks and customize their demonic minions. This change means that Warlocks will join Warriors, Hunters, Rogues, Mages, and Priests as the only classes available for all non-Dracthyr races in World of Warcraft. In terms of races, the requirements to unlock and play as Allied Races like Zandalari Trolls and Dark Iron Dwarves have been reduced to only needing a level 40 character in order to complete the respective quests.
Additionally, the patch will bring some enhancements to the user interface, including new icons in the main menu. Alongside these updates, there will be various side activities, such as the Little Scales Daycare, where players can nurture a baby dragon. Overall, the Fractures in Time update will offer plenty of engaging activities for players of all types.
