One Tears of the Kingdom player showcases their creativity by constructing a functional and pilotable mechanical bird using the game's Ultrahand ability.

Artillery and vehicles are highly favored creations among Ultrahand users. However, pilotable mechs offer a unique advantage, combining both functions, which has sparked the interest of numerous enthusiasts who enjoy experimenting with controllable machines.

An exceptional example of this is the newly designed enormous winged mech in Tears of the Kingdom. Resembling an actual bird, it incorporates several in-game elements like guard rails, Zonai Portable Pots, wooden wagon wheels, and Zonai Construct Heads to achieve realistic flapping motion.

From the moment The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom was released on May 12, fans have been showcasing their limitless creativity in constructing various elements within the game. One standout player has ingeniously utilized the Ultrahand ability to construct a functional and even pilotable giant mechanical bird. This impressive feat adds to the ongoing trend of fans striving to take their adventures in Tears of the Kingdom to new heights. As players continue to experiment, it has become evident that artillery and vehicles are the most advantageous creations that can be built using the Ultrahand ability. The ability to pilot these mechs allows for a versatile gaming experience, combining the best of both worlds.

Reddit user divlogue has achieved an exceptional feat by constructing a magnificent winged mech that remarkably mimics the flight of a real bird. The mechanical bird's wings are crafted from a combination of guard rails from the Tears of the Kingdom's Construct Factory, Zonai Portable Pots, wooden wagon wheels, and Zonai Construct Heads, which enable the wings to flap. The creator of this invention aimed to replicate the graceful and natural movements of birds, explaining their choice to utilize guard rails. It should be noted that the guard rail, found in the Construct Factory, is the game's lightest component, discovered in early July. Ever since, it has been utilized to enhance the design of the classic Tears of the Kingdom hoverbike and has played a pivotal role in the development of various gravity-defying vehicles. With the incorporation of one Zonai Steering Stick, this newly unveiled mechanical bird not only offers control but also exhibits exceptional agility while airborne.

The bird can be controlled if desired, but it is not necessary to do so. Additionally, the machine has the capability to fly autonomously, as demonstrated in a brief video shared by its creator on Reddit. The gameplay footage also showed that the mech is energy-efficient, thanks to its lightweight central components that require minimal power to stay airborne.

This remarkable engineering feat is just one example of the various aircraft made possible by the development of the floaty guard rail. Another recent example is a Tears of the Kingdom replica of the first successful airplane in history, which emerged online just last week.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available on Nintendo Switch.
