Collecting Armor Sets in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom offers players a wide variety of armor sets to collect. Some serve as counterparts to those in Breath of the Wild, providing Link with added protection or stealth abilities. Others, like the Charged Armor, can boost the hero's attack power in thunderstorms, making him a formidable force to be reckoned with.

However, obtaining the Charged Armor set is not an easy feat. Players must progress through a significant portion of the game before it becomes available. Here's a guide on how to acquire the Charged Armor set in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

To obtain the Charged Armor, players must first progress through the game and address the Four Regional Phenomena affecting Hyrule. These issues are found in Rito Village, Zora's Domain, Goron City, and Gerudo Town. After resolving each Regional Phenomena, players will head to Hyrule Castle to handle a situation there. Upon completion, players can return to Lookout Landing and receive a new quest from Purah, which will take them to Kakariko Village to speak with Paya.

After discovering the Fifth Ring in Kakariko Village and presenting Tauro with a photo of the Zonaite slab, players will embark on a journey towards the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower. Upon arrival, they will have the opportunity to converse with an NPC who is stationed near a modest tent. This character will inform them that Tauro has departed for Dracozu Lake, located southeast of the Skyview Tower. It is at this location where players will uncover the entire Charged Armor Set, but it is essential to have progressed through the main quest to this point.

Located in the Dracozu Lake area, players can find the Charged Shirt by heading towards the open doorway filled with light. To reach the doorway, one can jump down the cliffside from the Southeast of Popla Foothills Skyview Tower and glide towards the campfire. Inside the room, players will find Tauro admiring a mural and above him lies the chest containing the Charged Shirt - the first armor piece that players can obtain in the game.

Charged Trousers are the second armor piece that players can acquire with ease. All they need to do is travel south along the bending river and look for an open and well-lit door on the western riverbank, just around the first riverbed. The room where the trousers can be found is almost identical to the one where Tauro is located, and the chest containing them is in the same spot.

Players can locate the final piece of the Charged armor by following the river down to the "Dracozu River" area on the map. Look for a brightly lit doorway, blocked by overhanging vines. To gain entrance, players can use a Fire Fruit or a fire-based weapon or Zonai Device to clear the way. Once inside, the Headdress can be found in a chest at the top of the room. Equipping the complete set of armor will enable players to place a Zonai Charge on the altar at the tail tip end of the Dracozu River, allowing them to progress in their Main Quest.
