The Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse cosplay showcases Hobie Brown's iconic guitar, paired with an impeccable replica of Spider-Punk's fashion from the animated film, offering a glimpse into the potential live-action portrayal of Hobie Brown.
Could Spider-Punk Ever Officially Appear In Live-Action?
The release of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse opened the doors for the franchise to bring beloved characters like Spider-Punk, Miles, Gwen Stacy, and Peter B. Parker into the live-action realm in 2024's Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse. Within the animated film, viewers witnessed exciting encounters such as the Spot crossing paths with Venom's Mrs. Chen and Miles finding himself face to face with Donald Glover's Prowler at the Spider-Society's headquarters.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse incorporated Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's versions of Spider-Man by utilizing footage from their previous movies. The animated sequel explained Canon Events and allowed animated and live-action characters to interact. The upcoming sequel, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, may take this concept further by featuring a brief live-action sequence, potentially including Spider-Punk.
If a live-action sequence is not included in Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, there are still other possibilities for Hobie Brown to appear in live-action. Tom Holland's Marvel Cinematic Universe Spider-Man franchise could explore another Spider-Verse event, introducing Spider-Punk and other Spider-Man variations. Sony's deal with Amazon Prime has opened up opportunities for live-action series, so Hobie Brown could potentially have his own series alongside Spider-Man Noir and Silk. Additionally, Sony could produce a separate live-action film centered around Spider-Punk, capitalizing on the character's success in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
