Unleash your Fury: The Ultimate Skyrim Mod to Take Down Belethor

Unleash your wrath on the notorious Belethor in Skyrim with a new fan-made mod Finally, players can take revenge on the NPC they love to hate and experience the satisfaction of bringing justice to their virtual world

Skyrim players can now take revenge on the notoriously disliked NPC, Belethor, thanks to a recent mod. Found in Whiterun, Belethor sells a variety of goods, making his shop a common stop for players to buy and sell items. However, despite his usefulness, many players find Belethor's tone and comments unpleasant, with his parting phrase "Do come back" being a particular annoyance. The mod allows players to finally take revenge on Belethor and his unpleasant demeanor.

A new mod created by Nexus Mods user wSkeever introduces Belethor’s Sister into the game, giving players the opportunity to seek revenge for the mistreatment of this character. The mod, aptly named "Belethor's Sister - Quest," includes two main quests and three side missions. The primary objective is to rescue Lelaegh, Belethor’s sister, who has been sold by her own brother. The journey to find her is a challenging one, as she has been passed around by various merchants and can be found in the Soul Cairn from Skyrim’s Dawnguard DLC. Once Lelaegh is rescued and returned to Whiterun, the player is tasked with carrying out a hostile takeover of Belethor's shop, with the help of the newly freed sister. By completing this mission, the player becomes a partial shareholder in Belethor’s General Goods and can earn a weekly payout. To maintain the flow of products, players will need to complete additional missions, such as taking out bandits.

Players who want to experience the "Belethor's Sister" mod should be aware that a prerequisite for playing it is completing the "Chasing Echoes" quest from Skyrim's Dawnguard DLC and reaching at least level 20. While players may grow attached to Belethor's sister, Lelaegh, during their playthrough, it is important to note that she cannot be recruited as a follower since she has been "married" to the store by wSkeever. Despite being almost 12 years old, Skyrim still has a thriving fan base due to its active modding community, which continually creates and shares new content online. From lighthearted mods like adding guns to more immersive and believable ones, there is something for every type of player.
