There are numerous game modes available in Exoprimal, catering to both PvE and PvP preferences. Among these game modes is Omega Charge, where players engage in a race against another team while still engaging in PvE elements.
In Omega Charge, players must face successive waves of various Exoprimal dinosaurs, eliminating them to accumulate enough power to utilize a hammer that can smash through devices and obstacles. While most game modes in Exoprimal are relatively straightforward, the task of effectively utilizing the hammer in Omega Charge presents a notable challenge.
Omega Charge in Exoprimal
Omega Charge is a unique game mode in Exoprimal where players must charge up a Hammer device in order to destroy obstacles. It is one of the seven different game modes currently available. To access Omega Charge, players can choose either PvE or a combination of PvE and PvP when selecting Dino Survival or Wargames. The game mode will appear randomly as a section within the ongoing War Game.
When a player encounters Omega Charge for the first time, they will receive a brief description on how to use the hammer. However, the instructions provided are not very helpful. The description states that players need to charge the hammer by killing dinosaurs while in possession of it, and then they should "interact" with the targets once the hammer is fully charged. However, the description does not provide information on how to determine when the hammer is fully charged or how to interact with the targets.
How to Use the Hammer in Exoprimal
To charge the hammer in Omega Charge, players need to first pick up the hammer and eliminate dinosaurs and neosaurs in Exoprimal. Keep doing so until the hammer is "full" and starts emitting a brighter purple glow. Once fully charged, approach the obstacle and press the interact key. On PC, the interact key is F.
If players are on Xbox, press X to interact.
If players are on PlayStation, the interact button will be Square.
Press and hold the interact button until the meter in front of the target is filled, which will result in attacking the item with the hammer and destroying it. Use caution, as utilizing the interact button elsewhere will deplete the charge intended for smashing objects.
Subsequently, players must search for the next objective to strike. Losing the hammer, either due to death or dropping, will cause the charge to reset from the initial stage.
Exoprimal is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X.
