To start the 'Eerie Voice' Side Adventure in Tears of the Kingdom, players should first complete the 'Potential Princess Sightings' questline. This starts by visiting Traysi at the Lucky Clover Gazette near Rito Village. Once initiated, players can find the questgiver, Penn, at every stable throughout Hyrule. To begin the adventure, players should head to the Highland Stable in Faron Grasslands, located in the southern section of Hyrule at coordinates 0496, -3386, 0047, and speak to Penn who can be found near the main entrance and a cooking pot.
An Eerie Voice Quest Guide
Link is informed by Penn of a disturbing voice that has been heard by many in the vicinity, which bears a striking resemblance to that of Princess Zelda. This voice appears to originate from Fural Plain, situated towards the northwest, but is only audible during the night.
Players can further progress in the game by interacting with the nearby cooking pot using the A button. They can choose to rest by the fire until nightfall to pass the time. Once it's dark, they can speak to Penn again and select the option "Let's go, partner!" This will transport them a short distance away from the stable. Players should then speak to Penn again in the field.
Head northwest-ish after speaking with him and you'll come across the Haran Lakefront Well. Descend into the well and you'll meet Sagessa, an NPC who was singing a catchy tune. As it turns out, the misinterpretation of one of her lyrics caused people to toss their weapons into the well.
Upon conversing with Penn, players will be escorted back to the field and presented with a valuable Purple Rupee, equating to 50 Rupees in worth. While this marks the fulfillment of the 'An Eerie Voice' quest, adventurers of TotK may opt to revisit the well and scavenge the numerous weapons that have been discarded by previous explorers. These weapons include:
Blue Moblin Smasher Giant Boomerang Blue Lizal Reaper Blue Moblin Pulverizer
And like always, plater can rely on Link's trusty new Ascend ability to escape the well.
