In Final Fantasy 16, the main character Clive Rosfield has the ability to gain additional Eikon powers in addition to his own Eikon "Ifrit." This occurs multiple times throughout the story and greatly expands his combat options.

One Eikon that Clive can acquire during the main story of Final Fantasy 16 is Bahamut, the light warden. Bahamut possesses the power of light and offers various powerful attacks that are effective in group battles. One particularly strong offensive skill that Bahamut possesses is his Eikonic Talent called "Wings of Light," which can be charged rapidly through precise dodging.

How to Use Wings of Light in Final Fantasy 16

Using Bahamut's Wings of Light Talent, Clive can activate his wings by pressing the circle button. While floating, he is able to move and dodge freely but cannot perform other actions. During this time, Clive's "Megaflare" meter in the upper left corner of the screen gradually fills up. When the meter is full, Megaflare's level increases by 1. With Wings of Light mastered, Megaflare can reach level 4 instead of level 3.

Once Megaflare reaches level 1 or higher, players have the option to release it by pressing the Circle button again. This unleashes a shower of light bolts from above, causing significant damage to all enemies and temporarily immobilizing weaker foes. In some cases, the bolts may also lift weaker enemies into the air or prevent launched foes from falling back down. The number of bolts and the duration of the storm depend on the level of Megaflare when activated.

After triggering Megaflare, a torrent of bolts shower down on the battlefield, creating an opportunity for players to strategically link their subsequent attacks. This barrage of luminous energy effectively immobilizes foes, allowing the team to swiftly eliminate their vulnerable targets.

Although Megaflare charges gradually during the activation of Wings of Light, it can be charged much more rapidly by executing flawless dodges. Each successful "Megaflare Dodge" will instantly fill the Megaflare bar, permitting players to swiftly accumulate meter points through precise evasion.

If Clive sustains a hit while utilizing Wings of Light, he will be forcefully knocked down, resulting in a rapid decrease in the meter's charge. However, once Clive recovers from the knockdown, players should be able to promptly reactivate Wings of Light, ensuring that the charge does not drain excessively.
