Guide to Finding the Giant Horse & Giant White Stallion at Ishokin ShrineLocated in Tears of the Kingdom, the Ishokin Shrine is one of the Shrines that requires players to locate a large, green shrine crystal before completing it. Although the crystal can be easily spotted, players must first complete the "Ride the Giant Horse" Shrine Quest to return it to its rightful place.
Link has the opportunity to tame a variety of distinctive horses in Tears of the Kingdom. This includes two massive horses, with one of them being essential for the Ishokin Shrine, as the Shrine Quest suggests. To complete this quest, players should head to the Highland Stable, which is located near the Faron Grasslands in the southern region of Hyrule.
For the side quest "Ride the Giant Horse," players have the option to tame either the Giant Horse or the Giant White Stallion, or both. It's more convenient to go for the Giant White Stallion as it is closer to the Shrine. These horses can be tamed in specific areas located in Tears of the Kingdom.

To tame the Giant Horse, players can find it at two different locations: South of Highland Stable, past the Horse God Bridge or at Hateno Beach, east of Hateno Village. However, once the Giant Horse has been transferred to the Tears of the Kingdom file, it will no longer appear at Hateno Beach. Taming the Giant Horse requires two and a half Stamina Wheels, which can be obtained by completing Shrines and exchanging their Light of Blessing for a Stamina Wheel at a Goddess Statue. Alternatively, players can assist the Poe statue in the Great Abandoned Central Mine to receive a quarter of a Stamina Wheel.
If players successfully tame the Giant Horse, registering him at the closest stable near Hateno Village is necessary. The recommended stable for registration is the Dueling Peaks Stable (1745, -1929, 00010), but players can also opt to travel to the Faron Region from Hateno. However, registering the horse is a safer option in case of any unexpected events.
To reach the location of the Shrine Quest, players can head straight to Darybon Plains after taming the Giant White Stallion located at 0738, -3729, 0080. If starting from the former Horse God Lake, follow these directions closely.
Before embarking on the Ishokin Shrine Quest (Ride the Giant Horse), it is advisable to register the Giant White Stallion at the Highland Stable. Once mounted on the stallion, head towards Highland Stable (0534, -3433, 0047) and refer to the map (zoom in twice) for directions. Instead of taking a right towards the stable, go north towards Harfin Valley and cross the bridge over Menoat River (-0122, -3419, 0015). Keep an eye out for the Monster Ship anchored nearby in the river. After crossing the bridge, head south and up the slope of Darybon Plains, avoiding Pappetto Grove and Parache Plains in the opposite direction. Look for a campsite at -0694, -3393, 0172 where players will see the Shrine Crystal. Speak to NPC Baddeck here to complete the "Ride the Giant Horse" Shrine Quest. Link can now take the Shrine Crystal and attach it to the nearby Zonai sled using Ultrahand or carry it back down the hill to the Shrine's terminal at -0565, -3524, 0129.
Ishokin Shrine Reward
After obtaining the Light of Blessing, players can explore the Ishokin Shrine without worrying about any trials. They can collect a Topaz from a chest and decide whether to sell it or use it to upgrade their armor. Alternatively, they can choose to Fuse it to a weapon and imbue it with the power of lightning, similar to the weapons used by Electric Wizzrobes. The game is available for Nintendo Switch players to enjoy.
