World of Warcraft has released the patch notes for Patch 10.1.7, Fury Incarnate, ahead of next week's update. The patch notes provide detailed information about the changes and updates that players can expect starting on September 5. Notable changes include updates to healer specializations.

The Fury Incarnate update brings exciting features to World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, including the introduction of heritage armor sets for the Forsaken and Night Elves. While these quest chains are currently encrypted on the public test realm (PTR), players with Forsaken or Night Elf characters can uncover the backstory of these races and earn cosmetic rewards. Additionally, starting on September 12, players can embark on a quest to unlock new cosmetic options for the Draenei races, allowing them to take on the appearance of a Man'ari Eredar. The relationship between the Man'ari and the Draenei adds intrigue to the upcoming quests.

Patch 10.1.7 has much more in store for World of Warcraft players beyond these exciting additions.

When Patch 10.1.7 is released for World of Warcraft, players can look forward to the introduction of a new ping system. This feature, initially bound to the G key, offers players a higher level of control when communicating objectives to their teammates. Furthermore, these pings can be limited to raid leaders in order to prevent any potential misuse during intense battles. Alongside the ping system, Blizzard has announced significant changes to the talents of the Mistweaver Monk and Restoration Druid. Notably, the Restoration Druid will gain a new talent called Grove Guardians, which will replace their Nourish spell if chosen. Additionally, the Mistweaver talents Mana Tea and Lifecycles have been adjusted to enhance mana management while healing.

Vendors will now have the capability to sell all junk items in the inventory, aligning with Blizzard's ongoing efforts to enhance the user interface in Dragonflight and integrate add-ons into the base game. Additionally, the level requirements for Timewalking dungeons will be decreased, providing a beneficial advantage for players looking to level up their alternate characters efficiently.

In the upcoming major update for World of Warcraft, two of the Primal Incarnates will face disagreements on how to achieve their goals, potentially guiding players towards The Emerald Dream. The unfolding of Fury Incarnate's story remains uncertain and can only be revealed with time.

NEW PUBLIC EVENT: DREAMSURGE

Experience the emergence of a fresh World Tree, as the mystical energies of the Emerald Dream materialize across the Dragon Isles. Overcome the havoc wrought by the Druids of the Flame and be rewarded. Locate Hamuul Runetotem in Valdrakken to embark on the "Surging Dreams" quest. Alternatively, approach the Dreamsurge icon in the affected zone directly.

Every week, one of the original four zones in the Dragon Isles—The Waking Shores, Ohn'ahran Plains, Thaldraszus, and The Azure Span—will experience a Dreamsurge. This event occurs every 30 minutes and involves the opening of a major Waking Dream portal in the affected zone, which becomes a group event. The zone affected by the Dreamsurge will have Dreaming Winds, granting a 25% experience boost for players leveling in that area.

To overcome the Dreamsurge, champions need to collaborate and defeat the Druids of the Flame, destroy their altars, and navigate through their circling reinforcements while riding dragons. Afterward, they must prepare for a battle against a Flame Lieutenant, who drops Charred Elemental Remains upon defeat. Additionally, minor Waking Dream portals can be found throughout the affected zone during the Dreamsurge. These can be taken on by solo players or small groups.

During the active event, a fresh buff will be chosen for the region every half an hour. Participants in the event have the opportunity to vote and influence the upcoming Dreamsurge. This allows players to have access to a range of beneficial, potent, or unpredictable buffs which aid in the defense of the zone. [LEARN MORE]

CLASSES

DRUID Restoration:

New Talent: Master Shapeshifter - Enhance the power of your abilities by harnessing the energy of your current shapeshift form. Unlock an additional effect for each form.

In Bear Form, Ironfur provides a 30% boost to armor and generates 2,500 mana (at level 70).

In Cat Form, casting Rip, Ferocious Bite, and Maim with 5 combo points will deal 60% more damage and generate 10,000 mana (at level 70).

Moonkin Form: Wrath, Starfire, and Starsurge now inflict an additional 30% damage and generate 2,500 mana (at level 70).

New Talent: Grove Guardians: Summons a Treant that promptly casts Swiftmend on your present target. The Treant will periodically cast Nourish on that target or a nearby ally. Duration lasts 15 seconds and has a maximum of 3 charges. Replaces Nourish.

The Wild Synthesis ability has received an update. If you have the Grove Guardians talent selected, it will now cause your Treants to immediately cast Wild Growth upon being summoned. This will heal allies within a 40-yard range over a period of 7 seconds. However, all healing done by this ability will be reduced by 6%. It is important to note that this adjustment does not apply to PvP combat. The developers have made this change to ensure that the new Grove Guardians talent provides a significant amount of healing without significantly altering the overall healing throughput.

Embrace of the Dream is now a 1-point talent and its healing has been decreased by 20%.

Deep Focus and Forest's Flow have been removed.

MONK Mistweaver New Talent: Energizing Brew – Increases the speed of channeling Mana Tea by 50% and yields 20% more mana.

Mana Tea has been modified – Each time you spend 25,000 mana (at level 70), you obtain 1 stack of Mana Tea. There is also a chance, equal to your critical strike chance, to generate an additional stack. Use this ability to use up 1 stack of Mana Tea every 0.5 seconds. This will replenish 3,000 mana (at level 70) and reduce the mana cost of your spells by 50% for 1 second per stack of Mana Tea consumed. You can use this ability while moving, but your movement speed will be reduced by 40% while channeling.

The Lifecycles ability has been revamped. Vivify now has a 25% possibility of triggering 1 stack of Mana Tea for your next Rising Sun Kick or Enveloping Mist. Likewise, there is a 25% chance that Enveloping Mist and Rising Sun Kick will enable your next Vivify to generate 1 stack of Mana Tea. Additionally, Mastery of Mist is now an innate feature for Renewing Mist.

Invigorating Mists has moved to Mastery of Mist’s previous location.

Mana Tea has moved to Invigorating Mists previous location.

The locations of Mists of Life and the Nourishing Chi / Calming Coalescence choice node have swapped.

Spirit of the Crane has been removed.

The Holy Tower of Radiance for Paladins has undergone a redesign. Flash of Light and Holy Light will now generate 1 Holy Power.

For Priests, Angel's Mercy has also been redesigned. It will now reduce the cooldown of Desperate Prayer by 20 seconds.

Players who have previously obtained the Infinite Scales will automatically gain access to the Infinite-themed hair, horn, and eye colors in the Rostrum of Transformation.

Numerous zone and rare spawn drops that were lost due to the Cataclysm have been diligently restored, staying true to their original form. Best of luck in your transmog searches!

The duration of the Greater Draconic Phial Cauldron has been extended to 5 minutes, up from its previous duration of 3 minutes.

Phylacterweave is now bind on account.

Formula: Cosmic Protoweave from Zereth Mortis no longer requires the quest “What Is This Thing?” to be eligible for it to drop.

The Demon Hunter's Vengeance specialization has undergone a change in the ability Illidan's Grasp. It will now stop channeling if any other actions are taken, instead inflicting periodic damage throughout its duration. This adjustment has been made to align with gameplay expectations and enhance clarity.

Illidan's Grasp has undergone a redesign. It now involves strangling the target using demonic magic, causing them to become stunned and taking Shadow damage over a duration of 5 seconds. While channeling, the user is able to move. By using Illidan's Grasp once again, the user can throw the target to a different location up to 40 yards away. This action stuns both the target and all nearby enemies for a duration of 3 seconds while also dealing Shadow damage.

As for the Druid Restoration class, all healing abilities are now reduced by 4%.
