Exploring the world of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a never-ending adventure. Along with the vast land of Hyrule and the Sky Islands, players can now also venture into the eerie Depths, which is the dark and gloomy underworld of Hyrule. Here, players will come across mysterious blue flames known as Poes and enigmatic Bargainer Statues. This guide will provide players with all the necessary information about these peculiar entities, including the locations of all Bargainer Statues, the purpose they serve, and how to obtain Poes.
What exactly are Poes in Tears of the Kingdom, and where can they be found?
Poes are wispy blue flames that can be found in abundance in The Depths, often appearing in groups. Initially, the game does not provide a clear explanation of what they are. However, according to the Bargainer Statue in Lookout Landing, Poes are lost spirits that need to return to the afterlife. The Depths are filled with them, making it easy to farm and collect. In addition, there are Grand Poes, which are equivalent to twenty regular Poes, and Large Poes, which are equivalent to five.
In Tears of the Kingdom, Poes exist as a currency that can be spent at Bargainer Statues, mysterious statues that mainly inhabit the Depths. These statues will exchange Poes for valuable items, such as the Depths Armor Set, which grants resistance to gloom.
The Bargainer Statues provide enticing rewards in exchange for Poes. It is important to keep in mind that in order to complete the sets, all or most of the Bargainer Statues must be located, as their powers combine with each discovery.
The rewards offered by the Bargainer Statues include: Dark Clump for 10 Poes, Muddle Bud for 16 Poes, Puffshroom for 16 Poes, Bomb Flower for 16 Poes, Dark Tunic for 150 Poes, Dark Trousers for 150 Poes, Hood of the Depths for 300 Poes, Tunic of the Depths for 150 Poes, and Gaiters of the Depths for 200 Poes.
There are a total of seven Bargainer Statues, with one located on the surface and six found in the Depths. To aid in your search for these statues, refer to this guide and utilize the map generated using ZeldaDungeon's Interactive Map.
