How to Find the First Red Pillar

In his journey through Riju's main quest, Link will come across significant information. Firstly, he will learn from the mural he discusses with Riju that the three red pillars he needs to locate will create a triangular shape. Secondly, he will discover that his search should commence with him facing away from the throne room. Therefore, in order to find the initial red pillar, Link should proceed to Riju's throne room and gaze out into the desert through the aperture behind the throne.

Looking out from this location, Link will have a clear view of the initial pillar emerging above the sandstorm. By ascending to the summit of the rocky formation near Gerudo Town, adjacent to Soryotanog Shrine, he will have the opportunity to glide directly towards it.

How to Find the Second Red Pillar

Coordinates: -4540, -3285, 0031

At the base of the first crimson pillar, Link will discover a section of rock that can be broken. By using a rock hammer or any other preferred method, Link can destroy this section and reveal a powerful beam of light. Following this beam will lead Link to the next pillar. To ensure Link is heading in the correct direction, refer to the precise location shown in the image above and the coordinates provided on the mini-map. Pay close attention to the coordinates, as the light does not stop at the pillar, making it easy for Link to pass by if he is not cautious.

How to Find the Third Red Pillar

Coordinates: -4187, -3629, 0027

Upon reaching the second tower, Link should direct his attention to a nearby structure situated just west of it at approximately -4600, -3276, 0046. Within this structure, he will come across a wheel that can be rotated to elevate the second red pillar, aligning the mirror atop it with the incoming light. As a result, the beam will now be directed towards the third pillar. Follow the path of light to the specified coordinates mentioned above, but be prepared for the light to once again fail to meet the tower's mirror.

At the top of the tower, Link will notice a wheel that can be turned; however, it lacks its levers. To properly align the light with the mirror and complete the triangular formation, Link must retrieve a lever from the bottom of the tower and bring it to the top. By doing so, the lightning apparatus in the center will be activated.

With this complete, Link will be able to move on to the next section of Riju's quest and, eventually, the Lightning Temple itself.
