Uncovering the Enigmatic Secrets of Lizard Lakes Quest in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

As players explore the various regions in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, they will come across Goron City and the Eldin Region, both of which are plagued by strange phenomena. However, by resolving these issues, new opportunities will arise for players. One such opportunity is the chance to embark on the quest "The Hidden Treasure at Lizard Lakes" given by Bludo in Goron City. Completing this side quest will reward players with a rare piece of armor, adding to the collection of valuable items in Tears of the Kingdom.

How to Begin The Hidden Treasure at Lizard Lakes Quest

After successfully clearing Goron City of the Marbled Rock Roast, players can initiate "The Hidden Treasure at Lizard Lakes" quest by conversing with Bludo, who is situated in the heart of Goron City. He can be seen engaged in a conversation with Yunobo near the coordinates 1648, 2435, 0381.

Players will overhear Yunobo and Bludo discussing an odd order from Princess Zelda to stay away from the Lizard Lakes.

Although they are both unsure of Zelda's reasons, the situation does remind Bludo of an old nursery rhyme about the lizards.

He always assumed the nursery rhyme was describing a hidden treasure, but he was never able to find it.

After that, the conversation will end and the quest will begin, leaving players with only the lizard brothers' nursery rhyme as their guide.

Where to Find Lizard's Burrow

After embarking on the quest, players will be inclined to head northeast in the direction of the two lakes that bear a striking resemblance to lizards. They have the option to either traverse the terrain on foot or utilize the teleportation feature to swiftly reach their destination by teleporting to the nearby Sibajitak Shrine.

Players will need to search for a destructible rock wall positioned at the coordinates 2200, 3079, 0405. This wall is conveniently situated across from the northernmost lake, with a lizard statue facing directly towards it.

Using bombs or a hammer-like weapon, players can destroy the rock wall to reveal the entrance to Lizard's Burrow.

Lizard's Burrow is a relatively straight tunnel with a few hot springs and a Bubbulfrog hidden behind some breakable rocks high on the wall.

At the end of the tunnel, players will find a chest containing the rumored treasure: the Vah Rudania Divine Helm.

Completing The Hidden Treasure at Lizard Lakes Quest

Returning to Bludo after acquiring the treasure will prompt a reaction and provide closure for the mystery surrounding the Lizard Lakes.

Equipping the Vah Rudania Divine Helm grants players the Flame Guard ability, providing protection against fire damage. Moreover, when accompanied by Yunobo's avatar, players wearing the helm will see the avatar donning the Zonaite helm, reminiscent of the past Sage of Fire.
