The potential for character appearances in modded versions of Marvel's Spider-Man seems limitless, and a NexusMod user going by the name MrHeathcliff5 has ingeniously transformed Peter Parker into none other than Makoto Yuki from Persona 3. This beloved protagonist from Atlus's iconic 2006 RPG now serves as an alternate costume for Peter, granting players the incredible opportunity to traverse the sprawling streets of New York City as Makoto. While his Persona abilities have been replaced by Spider-Man's signature web-slinging powers, MrHeathcliff5's mod successfully captures the distinctive cel-shaded anime aesthetic of Persona 3's Makoto Yuki.

Despite the initial surprise, there is an interesting connection between Persona 3's Makoto Yuki and Insomniac's version of Peter Parker in Marvel's Spider-Man. This connection lies in the fact that both characters are voiced by Yuri Lowenthal, who is also recognized for his roles as Matt Miller in the Saints Row series and Lorath Nahr in Diablo 3.
