The Goddess Statues are a staple in The Legend of Zelda franchise, but in Breath of the Wild and its sequel Tears of the Kingdom, they serve a unique purpose. In Tears of the Kingdom, Link can exchange 4 or more Blessings of Light (obtained from completing Zonai Shrines) for either a Stamina or Heart Container upgrade.
However, Tears of the Kingdom doesn't offer as much guidance to players as BotW did initially. Many players may not come across settlements with Goddess Statues as quickly as they would like. To help with this, here are the locations of every single Statue found across Hyrule.
First up is the Temple of Time on Great Sky Island.
The initial Goddess Statue that every Tears of the Kingdom player must utilize is located at the end of the Temple of Time on the Great Sky Island. This massive floating landmass serves as the game's Great Plateau, where players acquire unique abilities like Ascend, Fuse, Ultrahand, and Recall. Once Link acquires all of these abilities, he must use Recall to reverse the water wheels in the Temple and ascend to the top. There, he must offer the four Blessings of Light he obtained from the tutorial shrines to receive a Heart Container, which allows him to open the door and descend to Hyrule below. Additionally, there is an emergency shelter called Lookout Landing located nearby.
Players who left the Great Sky Islands without exploring further may find it challenging to locate a Goddess Statue. Unless they completed the main story thread and proceeded to Lookout Landing, they would need to Fast Travel back up to the Temple of Time to hand in their Blessings of Light. However, players who talk to Purah at Lookout Landing can now access a more conveniently located Goddess Statue. To find it, they simply need to speak to Scorpis in the courtyard, have him unlock the entrance to the Emergency Shelter below, and descend to find the Goddess Statue positioned against the wall, directly across from the ladder. Another location to keep in mind is Kakariko Village.
When it comes to the Goddess Statue in Kakariko Village, it's safe to say that most Breath of the Wild players will remember this one the most. Fortunately, in this game, it's much easier to locate Kakariko Village thanks to the giant ring-shaped ruin situated directly above it. Once Link reaches Kakariko, simply head towards the home of the village head, now occupied by Impa's granddaughter Paya. Across from the home, there is a small pond with a Goddess Statue placed right in the center.
Moving on to Hateno Village, the Goddess Statue here is even easier to locate than the others. Once players arrive in the village and appreciate its new stylish look, they can head straight to the Village Head's house. For reference, this house is located just past the Dye Shop on the left-hand side as you enter the village.
Players can easily identify their home in Tears of the Kingdom by its unique 'archway' entrance leading into the front yard. Once located, players can head to the right side of the yard to find the Goddess Statue nestled inside a charming custom-built structure.
Tarrey Town, which has already been built this time around, offers Link the opportunity to purchase his dream home after assisting Hudson with some family matters.
The Goddess Statue is prominently displayed in the center of Tarrey Town's courtyard, surrounded by a fountain-like display and situated directly beneath the Town Bell. Just outside of Tarrey Town, less than a mile away, is another Statue owned by Hudson Construction and considered by many to be part of the Town.
Link can purchase a plot of land and gradually construct his Dream Home on it, with one of the available purchases being a room featuring a Goddess Statue sold by Granteson. In Zora's Domain, home to the Zora race led by Sidon, players can easily find the Goddess Statue upon reaching the city. Simply head towards the top of the city, or the throne room, and locate the statue between the fin-shaped staircase leading up to it.
Goron City is home to the sturdy and resilient Gorons, who feast on Marbled Rock Roast and reside near Death Mountain. The city is also notable for the presence of the Goddess Statue, located to the left of Bludo's home at the eastern edge of the City.
Following the Rito people in Rito Village, Link encounters these avian individuals who are experiencing a snowy season. Despite the challenge of getting to the Village, Link manages to reach it and is greeted by the Goddess Statue which is located halfway up the stairs leading to the Village.
Gerudo Town also offers a shelter known as the Gerudo Shelter.
Once players have completed the regional races of Hyrule, the final challenge awaits in Gerudo Town with the Gerudo tribe. The journey to Gerudo Town involves navigating through the treacherous Sand Shroud, which requires careful planning and strategy. Once players reach their destination, they must find their way into the Gerudo Shelter by using the Wells to sneak in from below.
Upon gaining permission to enter and exit the Shelter from Riju, players will discover the Goddess Statue located near the circular "door" that leads in and out of the Shelter. This statue is conveniently located next to Isha and her Jewelry Stand, making it easy for players to access after completing their quests.
In contrast to the previous regional races, the Gerudo challenge is the ultimate test of skill and strategy. Players must use their ingenuity to overcome the obstacles and emerge victorious.
Although not necessary, it can be quite inconvenient for players to have to sneak in and out of Lurelin Town to use the Goddess Statue without first clearing out the monsters in the area. This seaside city located on the southeastern edge of Hyrule has been overrun by Bokoblins and Lizalfos, causing destruction to all the buildings and leaving the town in ruins. Once the town has been restored, players will easily spot the Goddess Statue nestled into the terrain to the right of the Inn. However, for those who have not yet saved the town from the invaders, the statue can be found to the right of the building directly across (and slightly to the left) from the entrance to the Town. Another location where players can find the Goddess Statue is in Korok Forest.
To locate the next Goddess Statue, players must first figure out how to gain access to its location, much like the challenge of entering Gerudo Town. In Tears of the Kingdom, players will encounter a similar puzzle to the one presented in Breath of the Wild's Korok Forest. After reaching the forest and activating the nearby Musanokir Shrine, players can then make their way to the left side of the Deku Tree. Once inside the small inner chamber, the Goddess Statue will be immediately visible on the left-hand side.
Although players may be tempted to focus on clearing out the Gloom Infection found in the giant hole located directly in front of them, they should instead cure the Deku Tree first. This will allow players to revisit the inner chamber and discover a General Store and Inn now established by the Koroks, now that the area has returned to normal.
Lastly, players should take note of the East Akkala Stable, an important location to be aware of in their travels.
This particular Goddess Statue seems to be one of the most hidden ones in the game, located at the bottom of a well in East Akkala Stable. It's quite unusual since most of the other statues are placed in significant locations such as towns and villages. There doesn't seem to be any specific reason for its placement, but it's still worth finding.
Moving on to the next statue, players aren't expected to come across this one until they're quite far into the main story quest "Tears of the Kingdom". After completing Purah's "Regional Phenomena" quest, players will eventually reach the Thunderhead Isles where this hidden statue can be found.
.
And at the end of the Isles lies Dragonhead Island, which leads to an inner area housing the Joku-U Shrine and a large circular door. Similar to the door that leads out of the Temple of Time in the Great Sky Island, this particular door won't budge until Link's Max HP has been put to the test. If he attempts to open it with fewer than 10 Hearts, he'll be unsuccessful. Fortunately, the Goddess Statue stands on a pedestal to the left of the door, allowing players to convert some Blessings of Light into Heart Containers and successfully uncover the secrets beyond it.
Temple Of Time Ruins
Lastly, to discover the final Goddess Statue (excluding the Mother Goddess and Three Springs Statues that have their own Side Questline), let's return to where Breath of the Wild first began- the Great Plateau.
