Johnny clarified that there is "no bad blood" between him and General Hospital for his character being killed off. He wished everyone at GH the best.

He also took to social media, in a post that has since been deleted, to thank his fans for their support.

"It’s been a few days since Brando Corbin's departure from Port Charles," Wactor shared. "I have to say, I am truly amazed by the response from the fans. I never knew you all cared so much about my character."

Johnny expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming support he received and praised General Hospital for having "the most amazing fans." He confidently stated, "I wholeheartedly believe this and the fans continue to prove it."

"I feel incredibly grateful and will truly miss all of you," Wactor expressed. "I appreciate the opportunity to portray Brando Corbin and am thankful for your kindness, support, and good wishes for my future endeavors. Whether that means returning to Port Charles or exploring other projects, I am thankful for your support."
