Tori Spelling is contemplating the joys in her life following her recent conflict with spouse Dean McDermott.
The 50-year-old actress took to her Instagram Story on Monday, July 17, to share a compilation of things that bring her happiness. While she acknowledged numerous loved ones, Spelling noticeably excluded her husband of 15 years, McDermott, aged 56, whom she married in 2006.
Spelling expressed her appreciation for the presence of rainbows even in the most challenging moments, as she showcased a photo of her 10-year-old son, Finn, striking a pose on the beach with a rainbow illuminating him. During her Stories, Spelling acknowledged each of her five children with McDermott - Liam, Stella, Hattie, Finn, and Beau - while describing Liam as her ultimate guardian. Additionally, she conveyed her affection for her brother Randy Spelling, her mother Candy Spelling, and numerous close friends.
One month later, McDermott made social media posts following his announcement on Instagram that he and Spelling had ended their relationship. McDermott, who also has a son named Jack with his ex-wife Mary Jo Eustace, shared the news. However, he deleted the post several hours later. In the now-deleted statement from June, McDermott expressed his deep sadness and heavy heart as he revealed that after 18 years together and raising 5 children, he and Spelling had decided to go their separate ways and embark on new journeys.
Later in the day, an exclusive source informed us that despite experiencing the normal obstacles that any couple faces, Spelling and McDermott were not on the verge of getting a divorce. According to the insider, friends of the couple believed that Dean's recent post was a result of a heated argument that occurred between him and Tori the previous night.
At the beginning of this month, rumors of a possible separation were fueled when the BH90210 actress was spotted departing a hotel in Los Angeles with her children. However, a second source, who had exclusive details, clarified that this stay had no connection to any issues in their marriage.
"Tori and Dean are doing well, and their decision to stay at a hotel with their children has nothing to do with a separation," the source revealed. "They opted for this arrangement due to the persistent mold problem in their house. Tori is taking this matter seriously and is determined not to expose herself or her children to it."
When confronted by a photographer about their hotel stay on Monday, Spelling confidently defended her choice. "Are you a parent? You understand that you would do anything for your children, correct?" she responded in a video obtained by Page Six.
McDermott, on the other hand, expressed his love and admiration for Spelling on her 50th birthday through a heartfelt Instagram post. In the caption of a nostalgic photo of his wife, he referred to her iconic character from Beverly Hills, 90210 as he wrote, "You're timeless and will forever be my Donna Martin. You exude beauty at 50! Happy Birthday, Babe. ❤️"
