Tori Kelly shared an update after being admitted to the hospital for blood clots. "I wanted to let you know that I am currently facing unexpected health issues. These past few days have been frightening, but I can sense your prayers and thoughts. I am gradually gaining strength and staying positive. However, there are still some unknowns that need to be addressed," the 30-year-old singer posted on Instagram on Thursday, July 27.

The singer, who is scheduled to release new music on Friday, July 28, expressed gratitude towards her medical team. She thanked the doctors and nurses who have been taking care of her and mentioned her disappointment about the cancelled plans for the release of her EP. However, she emphasized that her health is her priority. Despite the setback, she encouraged her fans to still enjoy the project that reflects her happiness in recent years. She assured them that the music will be available on Friday, no matter the obstacles. Kelly concluded by expressing her love and overwhelming appreciation for all the love and care she has received, thanking everyone sincerely.

Zara Larsson, a fellow performer, expressed her thoughts by saying, "You're in my thoughts! Wishing you a speedy recovery ❤️❤️❤️." On Sunday, July 23, Kelly was hurriedly taken to the hospital after losing consciousness during a dinner with friends. Subsequently, medical professionals found blood clots in her legs and lungs.

Following the revelation of Kelly's health issues, her husband, André Murillo, turned to social media and shared a video of her onstage alongside Justin Bieber and Chandler Moore.

In an Instagram video recorded before her hospitalization, she sang, "When I find myself alone and consumed by fear / Sitting in solitude with these doubts and insecurities. But then you reassure me, holding me close / And your love for me is unconditional, always by my side." Following her hospitalization, Murillo, 33, expressed gratitude towards Kelly's fans for their support during the health scare.
