Anakin Needs To Give Ahsoka A Proper Apology
Ahsoka was scarred not only by the events of Order 66 but also by the realization that her master, who had been like an older brother to her, had become Darth Vader. While at the end of Return of the Jedi, Anakin returns to the light side of the Force, he hasn't reconciled all the damage he's done. Ahsoka is just one of many people to whom Anakin owes a massive apology, and it would be nice to get that on screen. A scene where Anakin acknowledges this and apologizes to Ahsoka would be the perfect closure.

Ezra Needs To Reveal What He's Been Up To
While Ezra's return was long-awaited in the franchise, his re-introduction was fairly quick in the show, and almost as quickly as he and Sabine had reconnected, the two were separated again. Because of that, Ezra didn't have much time to explain what he had been doing for all his years away on Peridea, other than befriending the planet's creatures. Now that Ezra is back in the proper Star Wars galaxy and reunited with Hera, Ahsoka season 2 should see Ezra explain in greater detail what his exile entailed, particularly how he kept up with his Jedi ways while being so isolated.

Ahsoka & Sabine Need To Get Back To The Main Galaxy
Ahsoka was at peace about the fact that she and Sabine were trapped far away from the galaxy, but the two do need to return to the main galaxy. Thrawn has just been unleashed upon the galaxy yet again, and the duo's powers will certainly be critical in that fight. It would also make little sense to keep some of Star Wars' most prominent current characters on an isolated planet away from the action, and not to mention, it would simply be frustrating to watch Sabine and Ezra continue to be separated after she spent all of season 1 tracking him down.

Hera Syndulla & Ezra Bridger Need A Better Reunion
Hera and Ezra were incredibly close in Rebels, with Hera as much a maternal figure to Ezra as Kanan was a paternal one, which left their slow, fairly distanced reunion in Ahsoka season 1 pretty lackluster. A lot has happened and a lot of time has passed since they last saw each other, but the subdued reaction by both characters didn't feel like a true reflection of how either of them would have responded to their reunion. Hopefully, Ahsoka season 2 sees the warmth return to their relationship and builds the bond between Ezra and Jacen, too.

Ahsoka's Past In The Ahsoka Novel Needs To Be Explored
While the Star Wars animated series Tales of the Jedi conflicts with events in the Ahsoka novel, the stories in the book are important in that they reveal what Ahsoka's life looked like after leaving the clone troopers' mass grave at the end of The Clone Wars. The book sees Ahsoka coping with immense grief over the loss of the Jedi and guilt about leaving the Order, but it also shows ways she resisted the Empire and looked after Force users during the Imperial era. Whether it follows the book or not, those events should be addressed in Ahsoka season 2.

Baylan's Goal On Peridea Needs To Be Explained
Baylan Skoll came out on top in terms of Ahsoka's most interesting characters. As someone who wields the dark side of the Force but clearly has an appreciation if not affection for the Jedi, Baylan represents the type of moral ambiguity that makes Star Wars stories really excel. Tragically, Baylan's story might be cut short in Ahsoka season 2, as Ray Stevenson, who portrayed Baylan in season 1, has since passed away. Even so, season 2 must address what Baylan wanted with Peridea; particularly, his connection to the Mortis gods.

Ahsoka & Princess Leia Need Some Connection
While unlikely for numerous reasons, Ahsoka and Leia connecting in Ahsoka season 2 would be incredible. Although the passing of Carrie Fisher is a backdrop to any New Republic content, Ahsoka and Leia still have a lot to gain from meeting. Ahsoka, although now healed from her past, lost family relationships with Anakin's fall to the dark, and it would be meaningful for her to connect with not only Anakin's daughter but also Padmé's. Leia, in turn, doesn't seem to have forgiven her father; Ahsoka could humanize Anakin in a new way - and tell her more about Padmé.

Anakin's Force Ghost Needs To Be Actively Involved
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker showed a very active Force ghost Luke, which changed the rules of Force ghosts to some extent. This means that, in Ahsoka season 2, Anakin could be a pretty active participant.

The New Republic Need To Learn The Power Of The Nightsisters
The Clone Wars series brought many incredible additions to the Star Wars franchise, perhaps most notably Ahsoka herself, but one particularly excellent introduction in the series was that of the Nightsisters, the witches of Dathomir. In a galaxy that already contained plenty of terrifying characters, the Nightsisters stand out as one of the most intimidating, threatening groups, and it was a thrill to see them return in Ahsoka. Now that they're back and clearly ready to return to their witchcraft, Ahsoka season 2 should see their full power, demanding the New Republic's attention in a way that rivals Thrawn's own threat.

Jacen Syndulla Needs To Grow Even More Into His Force Abilities
In Ahsoka season 1, Jacen Syndulla has already demonstrated that he inherited Force sensitivity from his father, Kanan Jarrus, after helping Hera locate Ahsoka while she was in the World Between Worlds. In the episode, Jacen says he can hear lightsabers and Ahsoka fighting, and, when he reveals this to Ahsoka, she looks particularly intrigued. This demonstrates a pretty extensive connection to the Force, which sets up an exciting possibility for Jacen to be formally trained in Ahsoka season 2—ideally by Ezra rather than by Luke, whose Jedi Temple ultimately spells the deaths of his students.
