In a recent interview with Unilad, Tom Holland, star of "Crowded Room", revealed that his passion for carpentry played a role in wooing Zendaya. The 27-year-old actor expressed his genuine enjoyment of carpentry, stating that he had built various projects, including his mother's kitchen table, her office, the cupboards in his own bedroom, and even a birdhouse with his granddad. Holland also shared that he once fixed his girlfriend's door during the early stages of their relationship, showcasing both his skills and thoughtfulness.
Holland and Zendaya's relationship became public knowledge in July 2021, when they were captured sharing a kiss in a car in Los Angeles. This confirmed what had been circulating as rumors for years, with speculation of their romance stretching back to the release of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2017.
Although Holland didn't specify the precise moment he impressed his 26-year-old girlfriend from Euphoria, he clarified his determination to showcase his helpful nature to her.
“I was at her place when I noticed that her door was broken," the native of England reminisced. "Without hesitation, I told her, ‘I'll take care of fixing that for you.’ And that's how our love story began."

"I am content and deeply in love, as I am currently unavailable," he shared in a video interview with BuzzFeed on June 14th. According to Holland, Zendaya is the only one who believes he possesses charm, therefore he requires someone to genuinely fall in love with him for it to have any effect. He pointed out that the simplest way to achieve this is by collaborating on a film, just as he and Zendaya did. They shared the screen in three Spider-Man movies, which were released from 2017 to 2021.
"It certainly aids when the characters you portray are developing romantic feelings for each other," he jokingly stated. "It allows you to blur the boundaries a bit."
