Tom Holland appreciates Zendaya's honesty, stating that she is always truthful with him, which he values in their relationship. During a SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversation shared via YouTube, Holland, 27, expressed his admiration for Zendaya's straightforwardness.
During a discussion, Moderator Chris Gardner inquired about the actors Holland sought feedback from. Apart from Zendaya, whom he got to know while working on the Spider-Man movies, he mentioned Marvel colleagues Robert Downey Jr. and Benedict Cumberbatch as valuable sources of advice.
"Downey is incredibly frank - perhaps too much at times," Holland joked. "I truly value Downey's insights. He has imparted so much wisdom to me and I always speak highly of him. I have great admiration for him. I don't know if you guys have watched Oppenheimer, but his performance is truly awe-inspiring. He steals the show for me."
The British actor added, “Benedict Cumberbatch is someone that I ask for advice a lot about acting.”
Tom Holland didn't hesitate to mention Zendaya before giving a shoutout to his Avengers: Infinity War costars. After being seen kissing in a car in July 2021, confirming their long-rumored romance, the Crowded Room star has been gradually opening up about their relationship.
“When Zendaya and Tom first started dating, they made a conscious effort to keep their romance out of the public eye,” a source exclusively revealed to We in June. "Both of them had always been very private about their personal lives before they got together. This shared value brought them closer in the early stages of their relationship as they were both determined to avoid public scrutiny.”

Initially, they both preferred to keep their relationship private, but eventually decided it was pointless to conceal it when everyone was already aware of it. "Over time, they've changed their stance and now openly acknowledge their relationship," the source informed Us. "Tom is now happy to call Zendaya his girlfriend and openly profess his love for her because he wants everyone to know."
In a June interview with BuzzFeed, Holland professed his love for Zendaya, stating "I'm in love and content, so I have no need for charisma."
