Beyoncé's mother, Tina Knowles, defended her daughter against accusations of skin lightening and trying to be white, pointing out that her appearance was related to the theme of her film "The Renaissance." Knowles criticized those making "racist statements" and called them "stupid ignorant."
At the start of the clip, a photo of the singer from the Saturday, November 25 screening of her concert documentary was featured. Beyoncé sported platinum blonde hair and a sparkly silver Versace gown. Comments then surfaced, pointing out that Beyoncé's skin looked lighter and questioning why she appeared "so white."
Knowles expressed disappointment at how some of her own people perpetuated negative narratives out of hate and jealousy. She defended Beyoncé's appearance, explaining that the silver hair matched her dress as a fashion statement, and called her an "ALIEN Superstar."
After a few seconds, the image disappeared and a snippet of moments throughout her career played alongside her song “Brown Skin Girl.”

Knowles expressed her frustration with the people who were being "ignorant" in her lengthy post. She highlighted that many "beautiful, talented Black celebrities" have sported platinum hair since Etta James, questioning whether the same critics have accused them of "trying to be white." Knowles admitted she was tired of the double standard when it came to Beyoncé.
"I'm tired of people attacking her. Every time she accomplishes something she's worked hard for, showing her work ethic, talent, and resilience, here come the haters," she wrote. "You perpetuate jealousy, racism, sexism, double standards. Instead of celebrating a sister or just ignoring her if you don't like her, I'm tired of you losers."
