Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s 6-year-old twins Rumi and Sir are already displaying signs of exceptional talent behind the scenes.

According to the twins’ grandmother Tina Knowles, it is no wonder that the dynamic duo possess such remarkable creativity.

Tina, who is 70 years old, shared with E! News at the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, May 4th, "How could they be anything else growing up in that environment? That's all we talk about. Creativity and fashion and the whole thing."

She went on to proudly explain that her twin grandchildren, who will be 7 years old on June 13, have started to show their own unique interests.

Rumi is amazing,” Tina gushed. “She’s an amazing artist, painter and creator.”

Sir, on the other hand, is “not into the fashion stuff as much.”

Tina described him as very quiet and extremely intelligent, especially when it comes to working with numbers.

Back when the twins were just 2 years old, Tina had already expressed her thoughts to We. She mentioned that the girl is going to be a powerful force in the world, while the boy is more laid back and relaxed like his father.

Rumi is already tapping into her artistic talents with impressive achievements. She was the featured artist on Beyoncé's track "Protector" from the album Country Carter, making her the youngest female ever to debut on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Rumi, at only 7 years old, has surpassed her older sister Blue Ivy in achievements. Blue Ivy was featured on Beyoncé's "Brown Skin Girl" at the age of 12, alongside SAINt JHN and WizKid. Additionally, Blue showcased her dancing skills on her mom's 2023 Renaissance World Tour and concert film.

Rumi is currently the youngest female artist to ever make it onto the Hot 100 chart. However, the record for the youngest performer to appear on the chart belongs to singer Jordy, who was just 5 years old when his song "Dur Dur D'être Bébé" reached #58 in 1992.

Regardless of chart success, Tina is proud of her oldest daughter's country album, which was released on March 29th.

"We're from Texas," Tina shared excitedly. "We've been immersed in that culture for a long time."

She went on to explain that the album was inspired by an incident at the 2016 CMA Awards, where Beyoncé felt unwelcomed while performing "Daddy Lessons" with The Chicks. The album serves as a powerful reminder of the rightful place of Black artists in the country music genre.

“It’s a nice history lesson,” Tina asserted. “She has this way of doing things subtly, but educating. I’m really proud of that.”
