Gina Kirschenheiter, a cast member of The Real Housewives of Orange County, is staying occupied during the offseason with various projects. One of her endeavors includes the recent launch of a podcast called "Orange Country," featuring renowned country singer-songwriter Shane McAnally. McAnally has collaborated with notable artists such as Kacey Musgraves, Kelsea Ballerini, Carly Pearce, and others.
Kirschenheiter and McAnally, both 48, formed a close bond after being introduced by country singer Walker Hayes. "We instantly clicked," Kirschenheiter exclusively revealed to We. "He has a great sense of humor, is honest, and has had his fair share of ups and downs. He's a fascinating, talented, and incredible person."
Their conversations span a wide variety of topics, including reality TV, parenting, and the intricacies of the country music industry. They have welcomed guests from Kirschnheiter's world, such as RHOC's Emily Simpson and RHONY alum Leah McSweeney, as well as prominent figures like Little Big Town's Karen Fairchild and the aforementioned Hayes, who is 43 years old.
After engaging in captivating off-the-record discussions, Kirschenheiter and McAnally made the spontaneous decision to embark on a podcasting journey. Full of uncertainty and lacking a defined direction, their enthusiasm burgeoned as people expressed their positive response. The ongoing project has proven to be an immensely gratifying endeavor, fostering a deep sense of pride and enjoyment among its enthusiastic audience.
Furthermore, Kirschenheiter is fully immersed in the development of her skincare line, CaraGala, which she recently introduced to the market in late 2021. This brand name pays tribute to both her current residence in Orange County, symbolized by cara cara oranges, and her roots in New York City, represented by gala apples.
"We're maintaining a steady pace," she mentioned about the brand's progress. While the name holds significant importance to her, Kirschenheiter takes pride in ensuring that all her products include two bottles - one for use in the shower and one for the bathroom counter.
"When you invest in this skincare routine, it's essential to actually use it," she clarified. "I personally experienced the frustration of investing in a product only to find that when I needed to cleanse my face, the cleanser would be in the wrong location. Whether it was in the shower while I was at the sink, or vice versa, I would end up leaving the shower wet. That's when I came up with the idea of including two bottles in each package."
RHOC fans won't see Kirschenheiter on TV for a while after the season 17 reunion airs on October 11. However, she is eagerly looking forward to attending BravoCon next month in Las Vegas. Kirschenheiter gushed about her experience last year, expressing her admiration for the organizers and participants. She described it as an incredible event that truly focuses on the fans' enjoyment. Kirschenheiter is excited and looking forward to experiencing it again.
Part 2 of The Real Housewives of Orange County reunion airs on Bravo Wednesday, October 11, at 8 p.m. ET.
