Nintendo has taken the successful formula from Breath of the Wild and expanded upon it in their sequel, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. While still based in the core map of Hyrule, Tears of the Kingdom introduces new elements such as sky islands and a vast Depths area filled with dangerous creatures, hidden treasures, and a new debilitative effect known as Gloom.
Alongside the main storyline, which focuses on the disappearance of Princess Zelda and the resurgence of Ganondorf, Tears of the Kingdom offers a surprising amount of side quests and activities to engage in. These range from simple tasks like speaking to a specific person in a village to more complex endeavors like the Call from the Depths. Completing these quests not only yields valuable rewards but also allows for exploration of unexplored territories.
Similar to Tarrey Town in Breath of the Wild, Tears of the Kingdom offers players the opportunity to restore and revitalize Lurelin Village, a charming beach town. By undertaking this task, players unlock a plethora of exciting activities and engaging side quests, one of which involves assisting a character named Ralera with her culinary endeavors.
Tears of the Kingdom players must complete a task before they can begin the Rattled Ralera quest. Firstly, they need to make their way to Lurelin Village, a small fishing town situated in the Southeastern part of the map, north of Korne Beach in the bay near Cape Cresia. The closest fast travel location is the Sifimum Shrine, which is located on the cliffs overlooking the village.
How to Start Rattled Ralera
After liberating the town from the monster forces, players can proceed to initiate the next quest, known as the Lurelin Village Restoration Project. Led by Bolson, this undertaking focuses on reconstructing the village following the devastation caused by the monsters. By collecting an ample supply of Hylian Rice and tree logs, players will collaborate with Bolson to revive the village, reinstating its former splendor.
With the town now fully restored, players have the opportunity to encounter Ralera, a former resident of Hateno Village who has relocated to Lurelin. Positioned on the western side of the village, near her dwelling, she can be easily identified by her attire inspired by Cece. While attempting to brainstorm ideas for facilitating the return of the villagers, Ralera finds herself unable to concentrate due to her overwhelming hunger.
Ingredients Needed to Make Seafood Curry
To satisfy Ralera's request, players will need to create Seafood Curry with the following ingredients.
Porgy
Goron Spice
Hylian Rice
Thankfully, these resources aren't terribly hard to come by and can be found or purchased in multiple places. Here are the best places to find each item:
Porgy
The dish can be prepared using any type of Porgy available worldwide, making it versatile and adaptable. While some players may already possess a Porgy or one of its numerous variations, others can easily find one by visiting the water near the village.
Goron Spice
As its name implies, the best location to grab this is the General Store inside of Goron City. Head to the northwest part of Hyrule, near Death Mountain to come across the city.
Hylian Rice
Players can find the final ingredient, Hylian Rice, in various general stores such as Hateno Village, Gerudo Town, and Zora's Domain. If they don't have any, they can slash at tall grass in the world to potentially find it, although this method is slower compared to buying it from a store. Once players have collected all three ingredients, they should cook them together to make Seafood Curry and then give it to Ralera to proceed to the next step.
Cool Down Ralera and Quest Rewards
Once Ralera realizes that the curry is spicier than expected, she finds herself feeling uncomfortably hot. Despite being full, she desperately needs to cool down and clear her mind. To assist her, players must equip a guster-style weapon using Link's Fuse ability. They can attach either a Korok frond or a flat wooden board to the weapon. By swinging it at Ralera, a refreshing breeze will be created, effectively cooling her down.
Once Ralera has been sufficiently cooled down, the quest will reach its conclusion. As a gesture to signify the village's safety, Ralera raises a flag to attract passersby and let them know that the area is once again secure. As a token of appreciation for the players' hard work, Ralera rewards them with the Lurelin Village Fabric. This fabric can be taken to Hateno village by Tears of the Kingdom players, where it can be transformed into a new material for gliders.
