The Missing Farm Tools Quest Walkthrough

Before players can accept “The Missing Farm Tools,” they must first initiate the "Potential Princess Sightings!" side adventure. To do this, they need to visit Traysi, who can be located at coordinates (-3253, 1763, 0119) within the Lucky Clover Gazette’s headquarters. Link can then proceed to the Wetland Stable, situated at coordinates (0888, -0158, 0025), to commence “The Missing Farm Tools.”

Once the player arrives at this location, they should engage in a conversation with Penn, a fellow Rito journalist who works for the Lucky Clover. Penn informs them that Princess Zelda had borrowed certain farm tools from the stable, but unfortunately, they have not been returned. This behavior is highly unusual for the Princess, and Penn expresses his desire to investigate the matter more thoroughly.

Go to the nearby Hylia River and find Izra, standing near a raft at coordinates (0832, -0118, 0009). Izra reveals that Princess Zelda has taken the tools and gone down the river. He wants to venture down the river on the raft to search for clues, but lacks confidence in his own abilities.

Link can help by using the Ultrahand to collect Zonai devices from the rocks nearby, including a battery, fan, and steering stick. These can be combined to prepare the raft for the journey. Once this is completed, inform Izra that it is time to begin the trip downstream.

Izra will hop onto the raft. Link, wielding a sharp weapon, needs to sever the rope connecting the raft to the dock. Then, they will embark on a journey along the river until they arrive at a dock on the Floret Soundbar. This will be a considerable voyage, and there is a chance that the raft might exhaust its battery power. In such a scenario, Link has the option to either utilize his own batteries or simply allow the raft to continue drifting downstream until it eventually reaches the dock.

As the raft nears the dock, a cutscene is triggered, and the player, along with Izra, disembarks onto the shore. They are immediately greeted by Penn, who lands nearby and eagerly asks for an update on the story. Their arrival also captures the attention of an incredibly frustrated woman named Magda, who will undoubtedly be familiar to those who have played Breath of the Wild. Magda explains that the Princess left the tools behind so that she could properly care for Zelda's flower sanctuary. However, she makes it clear that she has no intention of returning the tools, bringing the quest to an abrupt end. In gratitude for completing the task, Link receives a reward in the form of Rupees from Penn.
