In the "Potential Princess Sightings!" side adventure in Tears of the Kingdom, players can earn the Froggy Armor set by completing the quest "The Blocked Well." To begin the series of quests, players should speak with Traysi at the Lucky Clover Gazette, located at coordinates (-3253, 1763, 0119) in the Tabantha Frontier. Traysi will assign players the role of a junior journalist accompanying a Rito named Penn.

During their journey in Hyrule, players will encounter quests from this series at different stables. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to locate and finish the "The Blocked Well" quest in Tears of the Kingdom.

The Blocked Well Quest Walkthrough

"The Blocked Well" is set at the Gerudo Canyon Stable, specifically at the adjacent Gerudo Canyon Well, which can be found at coordinates (-2817, -2233, 0029). While visiting the stable, players have the opportunity to undertake and accomplish the quest "Piaffe, Packed Away." Regrettably, the stable is currently closed as per Princess Zelda's orders. Outside the stable, players will easily spot their loyal avian companion, Penn, lingering close to the well.

Penn explains that the Princess has prohibited entry to the well, resulting in a scarcity of water that ultimately led to the stable's closure. Penn is uncertain about the rationale behind the Princess's decision and is unable to personally inspect the well due to his large physique. However, Link can effortlessly venture into the well, initiating the quest known as "The Blocked Well."

The player must jump into the well and land in a pool of water. Once they swim to the nearby shore, they will come across a solid wall made of breakable stones. To break through the wall, players have the option to either combine a weapon with a nearby boulder or utilize a Bomb Flower.

When the stone wall is shattered, a spacious room is revealed, housing two highly dangerous Black Lizalfos and one Blue Lizalfos equipped with a bow and arrows. It is recommended to take out these enemies from a safe distance using long-range weapons and projectiles, as the Lizalfos can inflict significant damage in close combat. A successful strategy may include using arrows fused with Bomb Flowers for quick and efficient elimination.

After annihilating the initial wave of foes, players will be confronted with a menacing Like Like affixed to the rear wall. The Like Like must be vanquished as well, and upon its demise, a chest will materialize, unveiling a formidable Radiant Shield. Proceeding beyond the Like Like, players will confront an Electric Lizalfos stationed at the threshold of the subsequent chamber.

Dealing with the Electric Lizalfos can be quite exasperating, given its ability to make Link relinquish his weapons with its electric attacks. Moreover, it has a tendency to pounce on the player, making it challenging to successfully land ranged attacks while maintaining safety. However, once the player triumphs over this foe, they will be able to gather various mushrooms in the small cave chamber.

Having vanquished all the foes lurking within the cavern, Penn signals the player from above, prompting their immediate teleportation out of the treacherous depths. Link proceeds to relate the enthralling escapade inside the well to Penn, leading them to the realization that the Princess had sealed it off to safeguard everyone from the nefarious creatures dwelling within.
