"For Our Princess!" Reward:
Side adventures in Tears of the Kingdom offer a distinct experience compared to side quests. They present enhanced rewards upon completion and are divided into multiple parts. Among the noteworthy side adventures is "Potential Princess Sightings," which allows players to obtain the highly advantageous Froggy Set for Link.
Where to Unlock "For Our Princess" Side Adventure
"For Our Princess!" is one of the 12 side adventures included in the "Potential Princess Sightings" bundle. It can be attempted after players have spoken with Traysi and Penn at the Lucky Clover Gazette. The side adventure takes place at the Foothill Stable in Tears of the Kingdom. Some players may find "For Our Princess!" more challenging compared to the other 11 side adventures in the "Potential Princess Sightings."
To embark on the "Potential Princess Sightings" side quest, players must first unlock it by speaking to Traysi and Penn. Both can be found at the Lucky Clover Gazette (-3253, 1763, 0119), located just before the bridge leading to Rito Village. Once that is done, Link will need to assist Penn in investigating rumors by visiting 12 different stables scattered throughout Hyrule.
To start the side adventure "For Our Princess!", go to the Foothill Stable (2596, 1138, 0147). You can reach it by fast-traveling and diving north from the Upland Zorana Skyview Tower (2855, 0582, 0379), or east from the Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower (1636, 1183, 0226). Upon arrival, players will notice the Zonai Research Team sitting around in their undergarments. Near the entrance of the stable, look for Penn and speak to him. He will unlock the "For Our Princess!" side adventure and provide a general idea of where to proceed next.
"For Our Princess!" Walkthrough
Princess Zelda instructed the Zonai Research Team to "prepare mentally and physically, and then venture out in minimal attire!" Penn will inform Link that two Zonai Researchers have made their way to a cave located north of the Foothill Stable. Fortunately, the route is straightforward.
Either ride a horse or trek on foot across the path above the treacherous Maw of Death Mountain. Keep an eye out for the cave entrance at coordinates 2280, 1513, 0157. Two individuals clad only in undergarments will be standing nearby. Engage in conversation with them, and they will reveal information about a multitude of monsters lurking within the den. Despite their lack of armor and weaponry, they are gathering courage to charge in and vanquish the creatures.
Take on the daring challenge of embarking on a side adventure, but be aware that it comes with a catch. Link will enter this challenge completely unequipped, without any armor, weapons, or items. Additionally, once players accept the challenge, they will not be able to save their progress.
The difficulty of this quest varies depending on the number of Heart Containers that players possess. It can range from a breeze for those with a surplus of containers, to a moderately challenging task for those with fewer containers.
If players lack confidence in their combat abilities, it is advisable for them to consume food that enhances attack power prior to engaging with the researchers. Utilizing ingredients such as Razorshrooms can effectively raise attack power.
Alternatively, players may opt to focus on additional bonuses and effects such as Stealth and Speed. These attributes can be obtained by consuming Elixirs crafted using elusive creatures like the Sunset Firefly for stealth or quick critters like the Hightail Lizard and Hot-Footed Frog for enhanced speed.
