How to Unlock "The Beckoning Woman" Side Adventure
Following someone who is said to be leading them to rescue their friend is one of the simpler tasks in the "Potential Princess Sightings!" side adventure. However, players of Tears of the Kingdom should consider equipping themselves with good armor and weapons before offering their assistance. The suspicious nature of "The Beckoning Woman" side adventure is bound to make most players cautious. To embark on this side quest, players must first approach Traysi and Penn at the Lucky Clover Gazette, located just before the bridge leading to Rito Village. Traysi will then task Link with investigating a series of peculiar events transpiring across Hyrule, each potentially linked to Princess Zelda. This will unlock the quest titled "Potential Princess Sightings!" and upon successfully completing all the investigations, players will be rewarded with the coveted Froggy Armor Set.
To start "The Beckoning Woman" quest, players should head to Outskirt Stable located at coordinates (-1436, -1264, 0032). This stable can be found southwest of the Hyrule Field Skyview Tower at coordinates (-0753, -1019, 0064). In order to progress, players must approach Penn who can be located on the road near the stable entrance at coordinates (-1414, -1294, 0034).
There have been reports of a woman near Outskirt Stable seeking assistance from blond-haired men for her friend. However, those who attempt to help her lose sight of her quickly. Penn suspects that this friend in need could potentially be Princess Zelda, so it would be wise to verify these suspicions.
"The Beckoning Woman" Walkthrough
To start, players should head towards the crossroads located south of Outskirt Stable. Once there, they can approach Penn and the traveler, who will provide guidance on Link's next destination.
At the crossroads, an individual named Ralera can be found standing near a tree. Ralera is in search of assistance for her friend and will share the details of the task. Afterwards, Ralera will indicate the path ahead and request Link to accompany her. She will be waiting on the road connecting the Great Plateau and Aquame Lake.
Please reconnect with her and she will ask Link to meet her at the summit of the adjacent cliff. Players have the option to ascend the mountainside using the path or by climbing. In case of rain, it would be advisable to walk up the path as climbing slippery surfaces may result in Link slipping.
During their third encounter, Ralera will guide Link to a different destination. Players will need to employ the paraglider to reach the Great Plateau. The distance to glide is not considerable, so even if players possess only one stamina wheel, they should be able to successfully complete the journey.
Engage Ralera regarding her questionable conduct and uncover her true allegiance as a member of the infamous Yiga Clan.
To conclude the side adventure, players must overcome three Yiga adversaries. The Yiga possess extraordinary speed; however, players equipped with long-range weapons like spears can strike them before they vanish. If players find it challenging, they should attempt to eliminate them individually. Utilize ZL-targeting to effectively separate them from their comrades.
After the Yiga have been defeated, they'll flee. Penn will then arrive and check in on Link.
"The Beckoning Woman" Side Adventure Reward
Blond-haired men were being lured by the Yiga in an attempt to track down and overcome Link. In the realm of Hyrule, the Yiga commonly masquerade as fellow travelers, making their presence felt across the Great Plateau. Additionally, they can be spotted in East Akkala (near the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab) and, naturally, in the vicinity of the Yiga Hideout at Gerudo Canyon. It should be noted, however, that the majority of Yiga members are posing as Zonai Researchers in The Depths.
With the full Yiga armor, Link can evade suspicion and freely converse with them.
Apart from that, Penn will compensate Link for his task. The amount of payment will differ based on the number of completed "Potential Princess Sightings!" side quests. For the initial quest, the player will receive 50 Rupees. It is only by finishing these side quests that Link will acquire the Froggy Armor. To obtain the last piece of the set, he must return to Traysi.
