Simmerstone Springs Side Quest Walkthrough

Upon arrival at Goron City, players can stumble upon the Simmerstone Springs side quest while undertaking the main quest of Yunobo of Goron City. Kima, an NPC located on the southeast side of Goron City at coordinates (1707, 2421, 0392), seeks Link's aid in locating Simmerstone Springs. Despite his efforts, Kima has been unsuccessful in his search and suggests that the Goron Hot Springs located south of the city might hold valuable information.

To reach the Simmerstone Springs in Gorko Tunnel, Link can either scale the mountains or take the easier route by heading to Stolock Bridge (1627, 2475, 0456) and following the straight path to the springs. Upon arrival, Link will meet an elderly Goro named Grapp who informs him that the best water is found at the Simmerstone Springs. Unfortunately, the entrance to the Gorko Tunnel has collapsed and is blocked off, making it impossible to reach the springs. However, before attempting to enter the tunnel, players should ensure that they have multiple hammers in their inventory to remove any obstacles that may come their way.

To clear a collapsed entrance, it's essential to have at least three hammers. These hammers are created through the process of fusing a stick, sword, or spear with a boulder or Ruins Rubble using the fuse ability. With the right tools at hand, clearing the entrance becomes a manageable task.

Located a short distance south of the Goron Hot Springs (1988, 2049, 0424), the Gorko Tunnel boasts scorching temperatures that require Link to equip himself with Flame Resistant Armor or consume Heat-Resistant meals and elixirs. The entrance to Simmerstone Springs' hidden room lies at the back of the Gorko Tunnel, obstructed by a pile of rocks. Break through the rocks with a hammer and take a left turn. Repeat the process with the next set of stones and you'll find yourself standing in front of a room with a soothing hot spring. The final step to completing the Simmerstone Springs side quest is to step into the warm waters of the hot spring.

As Kima enters, he starts to hard-boil a bunch of eggs using the fresh water from the spring. To show his gratitude, he hands over 100 Silver Rupees to Link for discovering Simmerstone Springs.
