In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players can enhance the appearance and ambiance of Hyrule's stables by participating in a series of photography quests as the character, Link. These quests become accessible once Link has successfully completed any one temple for the game's main story quest called "Regional Phenomena." Additionally, Link must have obtained the Camera in order to undertake these quests.
After meeting the necessary requirements, Link can enter a stable and interact with a prominent, empty frame displayed on the interior walls to initiate one of these quests. If Link has not cleared any temples, only a message from the stable's owner will be visible, and the photography quest will not be activated.
A Picture for Outskirt Stable Quest Walkthrough
The quest "A Picture for Outskirt Stable" commences within Outskirt Stable, which can be found at coordinates (-1436, -1264, 0032) in the southwestern region of Hyrule Field. In order to initiate the quest, players must interact with the vacant picture frame positioned on the right wall of the stable. Upon doing so, Embry, the stable's caretaker, will be alerted and informs the player that the Stable Association has mandated the display of photographs on the stable's walls.
Embry expresses his desire to create a peaceful ambiance for his guests and suggests a painting of a cherry blossom tree. However, due to lack of time, he requests the player to capture a photo of a cherry blossom tree on Satori Mountain, which is directly northwest of the Outskirt Stable.
To reach Satori Mountain, the player has the option to fast-travel to Sonapan Shrine or Usazum Shrine, both situated at the base of the mountain. Nonetheless, they will still need to climb to the summit to locate the cherry blossom tree.
Fortunately, the hills leading to the summit are gentle and easy to navigate. To begin their ascent, players can follow the road northwest and traverse the grassy Nima Plain. A convenient route up the mountain can be found near coordinates (-1947, -0464, 0124). Although this path is not marked on the map, it provides a hassle-free and direct journey to the Cherry Blossom tree via horse or vehicle.
At the peak of Satori Mountain, Link will discover a serene pool, adorned with a delicate array of Silent Princess flowers just waiting to be gathered. Standing conspicuously at coordinates (-2299, -0341, 0336) is a magnificent cherry blossom tree. It is this very tree that Link must capture in a photograph to fulfill the quest.
To snap the picture, all the player has to do is whip out Link's Camera and point it towards the cherry blossom tree in the viewfinder. A successful photo will be denoted by the tree being identified and having a red exclamation point icon next to its name. Taking a shot of the entire tree is not obligatory.
Before departing from the vicinity, it is advisable for the player to ascend to the foundation of the picturesque cherry blossom tree to acquire precious Endura Carrots. Additionally, they may opt to present an offering to Satori, resulting in the disclosure of the whereabouts of nearby caves.
After finishing, the player is required to go back to the Outskirt Stable and interact with the frame. This action will initiate a conversation with Embry. Link can then present Embry with the photo of the cherry blossom tree, which will serve as a reference for his reproduction painting. He will then proceed to hang the painting in the frame.
In return for completing the quest "A Picture for Outskirt Stable," Embry rewards Link with 1 Pony Point and an Egg Tart. Additionally, Embry informs Link that they have the option to replace the photo in the frame with a new one at any time. All they have to do is show Embry a different photo, and he will paint a replica based on it.
