Top Armor Combinations for the Diamond Circlet

In the game Breath of the Wild, the Diamond Circlet provided Link with enhanced defense against the formidable Guardians. However, in the Tears of the Kingdom, Guardians are absent, resulting in a modified effect for the Diamond Circlet. Some players may find the new armor effect of the Diamond Circlet to be less impressive than its previous counterpart from BotW.

Diamond Circlet Location

The Diamond Circlet cannot be obtained by looting chests in The Depths, unlike the BotW-amiibo and DLC cameo armor. Instead, players can purchase it in Gerudo Town. As it is crafted from diamonds, the Diamond Circlet stands as the most costly piece of armor in Tears of the Kingdom. It is advisable to acquaint oneself with all the details regarding this pricey armor before parting with one's Rupees.

The Diamond Circlet is available for purchase at the Starlit Memories armor store in Gerudo Town (-3875, -2864, 0043). However, players can only find this store in the Gerudo Shelter. The Diamond Circlet will not be stocked until players have successfully completed the Lightning Temple.

After Riju becomes the Sage of Lightning, head back to Gerudo Town and head towards the north gate.

From inside Gerudo Town, you will find the Starlit Memories jewelry store on the left side (-3792, 2903, 0043), close to the front entrance of the north gate.

Selling Ore

For those interested in acquiring the Diamond Circlet, it is essential to diligently gather Rupees through farming activities.

The best way to get money is to sell materials (such as gems) or meals:

Interestingly, diamonds are the top-selling gemstones. Players have the option to sell one diamond for 500 rupees. These diamonds can be obtained from Rare Ore Deposits, specifically those containing gold ore.

If players approach a Gerudo merchant named Ramella in Goron City*, they have the chance to sell 10 diamonds for 5500 rupees. Engaging in conversation with her will unlock the "Amber Dealer" side quest, which requires players to provide her with 10 Amber Ore. Completing this task enables Ramella to accept higher-quality gems. She will cycle through Rubies, Topazes, Sapphires, and Diamonds until she obtains 10 of the requested gem. During this process, she will not make any other purchases unless players sell the specified gems beforehand. Therefore, while selling 10 diamond ore can generate enough money for the Diamond Circlet, Ramella may not be the most dependable option for selling a specific gem.

If players have not yet cleared the Fire Temple, they will have the opportunity to encounter Ramella at the first set of gates (1649, 2447, 0381) leading to Goron City. Upon conversing with the two Gorons, they will extend an offer to purchase all of Link's ore for an impressive 3 Rupees. However, Ramella will intervene, preventing the transaction from taking place, thereby initiating the "Amber Dealer" side quest. Subsequently, Ramella can still be located in Goron City, even if players have not yet completed the Fire Temple.

While not part of a Set, the Diamond Circlet can be enhanced by a Great Fairy. However, the process of upgrading can be arduous and time-consuming. Before embarking on this task, players should carefully consider the required materials, which unsurprisingly include diamonds and, later on, Star Fragments. On the bright side, a level 4 Diamond Circlet boasts one of the highest base defenses, potentially making it a worthwhile endeavor to enhance.
