Tauyosipun Shrine Walkthrough
How to Solve the First Puzzle in the Tauyosipun Shrine
Four puzzles await inside the Tauyosipun Shrine, challenging players to master the application of Recall in manipulating massive stone balls. Each puzzle presents a unique obstacle to overcome, encouraging creative use of Recall to solve them.
Players are immediately presented with a puzzle as they enter the shrine: large stone balls drop from a dispenser overhead and roll down Link's only pass.
In order to tackle this hurdle, gamers can make use of the Recall ability on any of the balls that have recently fallen from the dispenser. This will cause the ball to ascend back into the dispenser, preventing any additional balls from being released and enabling Link to move forward to the subsequent section.
How to Get the Hidden Chest in the Tauyosipun Shrine
A dispenser can be found at the top of the ramp, accompanied by a wheel. The dispenser will continuously drop a chest, which will be thrown away into the void as the wheel turns counterclockwise.
Players can easily manipulate the rotation of the wheel in a clockwise direction by utilizing Recall. Doing so will result in the chest landing safely on stable ground, granting players access to its contents and the coveted Construct Bow.
How to Solve the Second Puzzle in the Tauyosipun Shrine
Upon entering the adjacent room, players will come across yet another ball dispenser along with a luminous ball and a switch located on their platform. Activating the switch by standing on it will trigger the closing of the gates located at the end of the ramp shown in the previous section. Consequently, the ball that falls from the dispenser can be caught by these gates.
To complete the level, players need to employ Ultrahand to lift the luminous ball and transfer it to the opposite side of the stone ball that's lodged in the gate. It's crucial that the ball isn't attached during this process.
Once in position, Link can use the Recall ability to reverse the movement of the dispenser's stone ball and send it back up the ramp.
This will push the glowing ball up the ramp with it until it reaches the back edge where it will fall into the goal and unlocks the door to the next room.
How to Solve the Third Puzzle in the Tauyosipun Shrine
As players proceed to the third puzzle, they will encounter a luminous ball descending from above them through a set of two ramps. To cross the gap between the ramps, players must employ Recall while the ball is in motion, as depicted in the image below.
Players can halt the forward momentum of the ball and make it drop straight into the goal below by activating Recall on the ball and swiftly canceling the ability with a press of the L-Button.
How to Solve the Fourth Puzzle in the Tauyosipun Shrine
In the ultimate stage, players will face a daunting task of maneuvering a luminous orb to the corner goal. The solution lies in utilizing Ultrahand to raise the ball and place it on the platform that oscillates across the designated area of the chamber.
From whichever side the players first set the ball on the platform, they should walk to the other side and wait for the platform to return.
To clarify, the platform and the ball need to pass over the goal in the corner at least once in order to solve the puzzle.
After the ball passes the corner and re-enters the playing range, players can retrieve it from the platform using Ultrahand and position it in front of them. However, it is advisable to wait for the platform to move away from them again before attempting to recall the ball with precision using the Recall feature.
Recall will reverse the ball's path over the goal in the corner, and, once it is in the correct position, they can stop the ability to drop the ball into the goal.
Doing so will complete the final puzzle and allow players to head into the statue room and collect their Light of Blessing.
