Eshos Shrine Location
Located in the West Necluda region of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the Eshos Shrine is a unique combat training ground. Unlike other shrines that require players to solve puzzles using Link's special abilities, such as Ultrahand, the Eshos Shrine is designed to teach Link essential combat skills necessary for defeating enemies with ease. To clear the Eshos Shrine, players must follow a specific set of instructions.
Located in the West Necluda region, the Eshos Shrine can be found at coordinates 1566, -1944, 0157. Its convenient location directly south of the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower makes it easily accessible for Link to use his paraglider and reach the shrine quickly.
Eshos Shrine Walkthrough
The Eshos Shrine prioritizes the mastery of shield techniques, with a special emphasis on deflection abilities. By harnessing these skills, Link gains the ability to deflect enemy projectiles back at them, effectively turning their attacks against them. Moreover, the Shrine teaches the importance of selecting the appropriate shield for specific projectiles, ensuring that Link is always well-equipped to defend himself in battle.
Inside the main chamber of the shrine, players who enter without any shields need not be concerned. On the left side of the chamber, there is a handy weapon rack that offers a selection of shields, including Old Wooden Shields and Rusty Shields, specifically for this challenge.
Link will need to use his shield to deflect both fireballs and lightning projectiles by pressing A at the right moment. By defeating both constructs, Link will be able to progress further in his combat training.
To clear the shrine, players can use a Zonai shield to easily deflect both projectiles. However, if they do not have one, they must exercise caution in selecting the right shield for each construct's attack. For instance, a metal shield or Zonai shield is ideal for deflecting the fire projectile from the construct on the left, as a wooden shield could burn and harm Link. On the other hand, a wooden shield or Zonai shield is recommended for deflecting the electric projectile to prevent Link from getting electrocuted and potentially dropping his weapon, which would happen with a conductive metal shield.
Inside the shrine, after successfully defeating both adversaries, the door leading to the final section will unlock. Link will be rewarded with a treasure chest that holds a powerful Mighty Zonaite Shield, boasting a Defense rating of 50. Moreover, this shield significantly amplifies the effectiveness of any Zonai devices that are attached to it. Don't forget to check out

The Eshos Shrine, while designed to teach a fundamental combat technique, may prove to be too simplistic for players who have already become acquainted with shields by the time they reach it. Additionally, its location far from the main early game hub of Lookout Landing may make it less appealing to some. However, for those seeking a quick and easy way to earn a Light of Blessing, the Eshos Shrine is a viable option. Overall, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is currently available for play on the Nintendo Switch.
