During the initial stage of the battle, Pieta will primarily employ physical attacks to challenge players. However, as her HP drops below a certain threshold, Pieta's repertoire will expand to include a range of magical abilities. Should players find the encounter excessively difficult, they have the option to summon an NPC ally to provide assistance. This NPC possesses substantial HP and will serve as an effective diversion, enabling players to deal damage to Pieta. Here are a few essential considerations for players contending with this boss:

Pieta's weapon allows her to extend her reach behind her, enabling her to strike any opponents attempting to attack from behind.

Occasionally, she will execute a powerful jump, fiercely descending upon her foes with her mighty sword.

When Pieta's HP drops to approximately 60%, she will spread her wings and move towards the center of the arena. It is recommended to stay on either side to avoid her attacks.

Pieta has the ability to summon two magical clones who will each unleash beams from their weapons. This attack can also be evaded.

Pieta summons a lone clone by raising her sword high, and it will either forcefully thrust its sword into the ground or unleash a spinning attack.

In a different variation of her attack, Pieta calls forth two clones that take flight, swiftly dashing from one side to the other. To prevent any unwarranted harm, it is advisable to stay out of their reach.

Pieta will also summon a barrage of magic swords that wipe off a huge chunk of their health.

Once players beat Pieta, they will receive a Vestige Seed and eight Umbral Scourings.

But don't leave just yet. Head over to Umbral and make your way to Pieta's memory. Utilize soulflaying to acquire the Remembrance of Pieta, She of Blessed Renewal. This can be traded for her weaponry and armor in Skyrest. Once defeated, Pieta can be located in Skyrest, where she aids players in enhancing their Sanguinatrix.
