Scarlett Johansson revealed that laughter is the key to maintaining a happy marriage with husband Colin Jost. Johansson emphasized the importance of communication and checking in with one another regularly. She acknowledged their differences in personality, with Jost being introverted and a comedy writer while she is extroverted. However, they make it work by always asking each other about their day.

The Hollywood starlet and the comedian from Saturday Night Live, who is now 40, were first spotted engaging in public displays of affection in New York City in May 2017. In May 2019, the couple confirmed their engagement after two years of dating, and they privately exchanged vows less than a year later. In the summer of 2021, they welcomed their first child, a son named Cosmo. (Johansson also has an 8-year-old daughter named Rose with her former husband, Romain Dauriac.)

He humorously shared, “There have been times after a show where I’ve thought to myself, ‘I wouldn’t mind raising a baby right now!’ This is quite different from my previous Sunday mornings, where I debated whether I should sprint to the bathroom or just let it all out on a nearby plant.”
