Scarlett Johansson is proof that a black dress is always a good idea.
The 38-year-old actress graced the God's Love We Deliver Golden Heart Awards in New York City on Monday, October 16. She donned a stunning plunging dress designed by Michael Kors, which accentuated her figure with its gathered detailing at the waist. To add a playful touch, she paired the dress with sheer black polka dot tights. Completing her look, she opted for glossy black platform heels.
In terms of her glam, Johansson let her blonde locks flow freely, styling them with subtle waves at the ends. For a touch of drama, she enhanced her eyes with bold black eyeliner, complemented by gold eyeshadow and delicate lashes. Rosy cheeks and a soft pink lip completed her flawless makeup.
Johansson's recent fashion choices have once again proved her ability to rock an all-black outfit. In a past event, she was fierce in a Veronica De Piante silk suit at the Clooney Foundation for Justice's Albie Awards in New York City. The ensemble consisted of a double-breasted blazer and perfectly tailored pants. To complement the look, Johansson carried a black fringe clutch and wore pointed-toe pumps. She completed the ensemble with a sleek, slicked-back bun and a statement red lip.
In an interview with Allure on Tuesday, October 17, Johansson shared her go-to beauty routine. She revealed that she doesn't regularly wear foundation, but when she does, she opts for Dior Forever Foundation or sometimes the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. Her makeup artist, Frankie Boyd, then applies Dior's Backstage Flash Perfector Concealer and the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze. When it comes to her lips, Johansson prefers Prada's Monochrome Hyper Matte Lipstick or Charlotte Tilbury's Pillow Talk Matte Revolution Lipstick.Johansson consistently prepares her skin for makeup application by using The Outset's Daily Essentials Regimen, a line of beauty products that comprises a cleanser, a collagen serum, and a squalane moisturizer.
