Sabine's portrayal in the Ahsoka Disney+ TV show takes an unforeseen twist, as Natasha Liu Bordizzo depicts her training to become a Jedi in live-action form.

Sabine is undergoing Jedi training even though she does not possess the Force. Huyang remarks that she has a lower aptitude for the Force compared to any other Padawan he has encountered in the Jedi Order's training program. Despite not possessing great Force abilities, the presence of Sabine greatly unsettles the Nightsisters, prompting them to employ their magick in order to ensnare her. Consequently, Sabine is confined to a holding cell within the catacombs of the Peridean structure. It is crucial to acknowledge that the Nightsisters did not identify Sabine as a Jedi based on her physical appearance alone. Although she was clearly dressed in Mandalorian armor and had her lightsaber confiscated, the Nightsisters recognized her true nature as a Jedi through their mystical powers, an inherent element of the Force. This unequivocally confirms Sabine's status as a Jedi.

Will Sabine Learn To Call On The Force?

Sabine, in her pursuit of harnessing the Force on-screen, has made three attempts so far. However, one of these instances cunningly entailed her utilizing Mandalorian gauntlet launchers to take Shin by surprise. It is evident that the narrative is gradually leading towards Sabine's eventual mastery of the Force, given her multiple prior endeavors. In episode 6 of Ahsoka, there is even a fleeting moment that suggests Sabine's abilities might be beginning to manifest. Sadly, this anticipation is swiftly quelled as the trembling within Sabine's cell is unveiled to be the imminent arrival of Grand Admiral Thrawn's imposing Star Destroyer, the Chimaera.

Sabine has reunited with Ezra Bridger, who may be the key to helping her tap into the Force, something Ahsoka couldn't do. Ezra has a deep understanding of Sabine, and their connection is stronger than the one she has with her former master. With Ezra by her side, Sabine's ability to channel the Force could be unleashed more easily. The desperate search for Ezra may have hindered her ability to feel the Force flowing within her, but now that she has found him, that obstacle can be released. This newfound freedom should make it much simpler for Sabine to harness the Force in the future. With only two more episodes of Ahsoka season 1 remaining, it's highly likely that Sabine will demonstrate her Jedi training and utilize the Force in the upcoming weeks.
